Mitt Romney’s wife says her husband is thinking about picking a woman to be on his ticket this fall.

Ann Romney says in an interview, “We’ve been looking at that and I love that option as well.”

She tells CBS News she thinks the person selected for the No. 2 spot should be “someone that obviously can do the job but will be able to carry through with some of the other responsibilities.”

WHO will it be?

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA)

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)

Gov. Susana Martinez (R-NM)

Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC)

There has been much hemming/hawing will he choose a woman. IMHO Sarah will not take that run again. I do not feel she has presidential aspirations. Condi has repeatedly said she will not run because she is very content with where she is. To hot to choose is Jan Brewer for sure. My guess if it were to be a woman, the main contenders are Nikki Haley, Marsha Blackburn and killing two birds with one stone Susana Martinez. A double minority win. I do not believe he will choose a female VP candidate unless Ann ‘strongly’ advises him to. My gut is telling me Rubio or Pawlenty. Although he’d be smart of course to pick my choice, Allen West :) To see these women’s weaknesses/ strengths read the article By Phil Tran
