Tomorrow, at around 10:30am EDT, the Democrat-left-media complex will launch the most aggressive and sustained attack on the institution of the Supreme Court in the history of our Republic. When the Court throws out at least some portion of ObamaCare tomorrow, President Obama and his partisans on the left and in the media will effectively declare war on the third co-equal branch of government and seek, in every possible way, to undermine the legitimacy of the Court.

They have already tried to lay the groundwork for their attacks. Politico today even unearthed disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner to test-drive the coming partisan attacks against the Court. Glimpses of these attacks have been around since oral arguments back in March, but when the reality of the Court’s rejection of Obama’s signature “achievement” becomes clear, the ferociousness of the attacks will be like nothing we’ve ever seen. It bears repeating: the left is willing to destroy the credibility of the Supreme Court in order to defend their policy failure.

ObamaCare was never popular with the public. In fact, it was so unpopular that it sparked a nation-wide grass roots movement that led to sweeping losses of Democrat elected officials at every level of government. Today, you’d be hard-pressed to find any Democrat in a competitive race running in support of the law.

Remember that when the left starts screaming that the Court is somehow going against the public interest. In fact, anything less than scrapping the entire law would be going against what the public wants. Today, a WSJ/NBC poll, which tends to juice its surveys to help Democrats, found that, by a 15 point margin, more adults would rather see the whole law scrapped than have it stand.

Good material for fighting the Left:

* Rule 3: Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Here you want to cause, fear, confusion, and retreat.

Saul Alinsky ~ Rules for Radicals

* RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.

Alinsky’s 12 Rules for Radicals explored by a Conservative

If we’ve learned anything about Obama in the past three and half years, it’s that he doesn’t take defeat well. Neither he nor his allies on the left and in the media will be able to admit that they got health care so disastrously wrong. They cannot admit that their signature achievement is existentially unpopular with the voters. So, they, as always, will look for others to blame. It wasn’t some vague “partisan” or “corporate” interests that killed ObamaCare. It was defeated by Democrat hubris.

Tomorrow, Obama will kick off his reelection campaign, not against Romney, but against the Supreme Court. Democrats will attack not the GOP House, but judicial review and the very checks and balances that have sustained our Republic for more than 200 years.

Steel yourselves, Patriots. It is a fight we absolutely must win.

The Empowered Man:

There is something simmering deep inside the soul of all Americans. We want to know that we are a free people; that the government acknowledges our individual rights; that fiscal responsibility is an absolute requirement. We want our presidents and politicians to mean what they say when they take the oath of office…”to defend the Constitution of the United States!”

Do we have freedom when half the country pays taxes to support the other half?
Do we have freedom when government regulates every aspect of our lives?
Do we have freedom when our currency is controlled by a corporation that has no accountability to the American people?
Do we have freedom when we have more debt than can possibly be repaid?

The government bureaucracy is to a point where it is no longer worth what the tax payer is required to maintain it. I wonder how many Americans realize they have sold our God given freedoms for a mess of pottage.

I hope everyone will see themselves as the Empowered Man. It makes no difference whether you are a man or woman, how old you are, or the color of your skin. You must decide to no longer be silent, to get off your bench, pick up that Constitution and hold it high in the air as a standard for the world to see. Don’t hold back! Don’t be silent! You are the future of this nation and without YOU, the American dream will perish.

“He represents every man, woman and child of every color and creed who is an American. Like you and me, he hopes for a better life, to find the American dream of happiness and prosperity.

But now, because of unconstitutional acts imposed upon the American people by our government we stand on the precipice of disaster. What will his opportunities be in the future? Will he ever have a chance to realize the American Dream?

Yes! He has got off his bench, ripped the Constitution out from under the feet of Obama and holds it up to the world. He is empowered to save our nation.

How? He understands the Constitution and liberties and laws therein. He also carries a Bible in his right coat pocket. He knows from where his true empowerment comes.

In his left hand he clutches dollars he picked up off the ground. He has done his part to stop the decline of our currency. All of us must do our part if we wish to save our country.” -Jon McNaughton; political artist

Consumer Watchdog’s Privacy Policy Campaign brought their “Google Track Team” of mimes to “spy” on investors as they arrived for Google’s annual shareholder’s meeting. The mimes serve as an in-your-face and farcical illustration of what Google’s myriad and inescapable technologies do to keep tabs on every move individuals make online.

From my report on June 25th Open Source Back Doors. Facebook; Google and more…JUST click image to see what I uncovered:

Browser support for Ghostery, I highly recommend it . Ghostery™ sees the invisible web – tags, web bugs, pixels and beacons. Ghostery tracks the trackers and gives you a roll-call of the ad networks, behavioral data providers, web publishers, and other companies interested in your activity.

Will block:

Google +1, Google Adsense, Google AdWords Conversion, Google Affiliate Network, Google AJAX Search API, Google Analytics, Google Custom Search Engine, Google FriendConnect, Google Website Optimizer, Google Widgets and so much more

To spotlight concerns over Google’s Internet tracking, mimes working for an advocacy group will follow government workers around Wednesday, when Google chairman Eric Schmidt testifies before Congress.

Political theater will follow Google’s Schmidt to D.C.

Google’s information monopoly extends from 70% of the search market to 95% of the mobile search market. But Google refuses respect our “Do Not Track” wishes. This 3rd installment of the animated “Don’t Be Evil” series uses the Google’s CEOs own words to satirize the company’s mobile tracking practices and make the case for a “Do Not Track” law.

Any clues for health care ruling? Justice Kennedy holds the ‘key’ vote…

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, a former clerk to Justice Sam Alito, said that if Chief John Roberts writes the majority opinion in the health care case, as some have speculated, it would make it “substantially more likely” that the Supreme Court would strike down the individual mandate.

Following the release of today’s decisions, SCOTUSblog’s Tom Goldstein suggested that the decision on the constitutionality of President Obama’s health care law would “almost certainly” be written by Roberts, based on the authorship of recent opinions.

“It certainly would not surprise me,” Lee told the Washington Examiner, standing outside the Court after this morning’s opinions where handed down. “It would not be unusual for a Chief Justice to assign to himself a decision of monumental importance. This certainly fits into that category.”

Lee said that if Roberts did write the opinion, it bodes well for opponents of the health care law.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A towering wildfire jumped firefighters’ perimeter lines and moved into the city of Colorado Springs, forcing frantic evacuation orders for more than 32,000 residents, including the U.S. Air Force Academy, and destroying an unknown number of homes.

The fire doubled in size overnight to more than 24 square miles fire information officer Rob Dyerberg said Wednesday.

Authorities held a morning press conference Wednesday and urged residents to stay indoors because the air quality has deteriorated. They also denied rumors that they’re aware of what started the fires.

“It was like looking at the worst movie set you could imagine,” Gov. John Hickenlooper said after flying over the fire late Tuesday. “It’s almost surreal.”

Heavy smoke and ash billowed from the foothills west of the city as the Waldo Canyon Fire has become the top challenge for the nation’s firefighters.

Congressional contempt vote against Attorney General Eric Holder is looking more and more like a fait accompli, as House Speaker John Boehner presses ahead with a floor vote tomorrow and conservative Democrats one-by-one announce they will side with Republicans.

Take note how it is going to be…

They are trying EVERY last ditch effort to stop this, especially Cummings who has changed his tune on the eve of the obvious.

In a statement issued by his office, Cummings said a report last week by the Oversight and Government Reform panel last weekincludes more than “100 errors, omissions, and mischaracterizations” as well as “significant legal deficiencies and factual errors that may call into the question the validity of the contempt resolution itself.” The committee is led by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.).

“I urge you to take a direct and personal role in trying to resolve this issue in a way that honors our Constitutional obligation,” Cummings told Boehner. “As an officer specifically named in the Constitution, you have a responsibility to set aside politics—particularly on an occasion like this. A decision to take such an unprecedented step should not be rushed based on the current record of partisan and unsubstantiated allegations.”

“A fundamental problem with conducting such a partisan investigation is that the results are not even-handed, but instead are skewed, incomplete, and inaccurate,” Cummings added. “These deficiencies are magnified when we rush from a Committee vote to a Floor vote at breakneck speed with little concern for the facts or the law. I hope after reviewing this information you will withdraw the contempt resolution, accept the Attorney General’s offer to meet personally, and enter into direct negotiations with him as part of a good faith effort to resolve this matter.”

Then we have Sharpton and his Civil rights leaders condemning Holder contempt vote and working their hardest to make this a racial issue with Pelosi’s fictious ‘voter suppression’ acid trip.

Holder in peril as Dems break ranks on contempt resolution

These Democratic defections cut sharply into the narrative House oversight committee ranking Democratic member Rep. Elijah Cummings, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, the White House and Holder himself have created around this scandal. They have all claimed that House oversight committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa and House Republicans are motivated by partisan politics in pursuing this issue, something that Matheson and other Democrats’ vote would undercut.

Three Democrats say they are in favor of holding the attorney general in contempt, as House vote looms

At least three Democrats have joined the ranks of Republicans planning to vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt over his refusal to turn over Operation Fast and Furious documents.

The Democrats who have taken that stance so far are all conservative-leaning lawmakers facing perilous political circumstances in their home districts. Republican Rep. Darrell Issa, who is leading the charge on contempt, predicted to Fox News that up to 31 Democrats could be considering voting against Holder — in reference to a letter signed by 31 Democrats last year expressing concern about Fast and Furious.

The latest Democrats to announce an anti-Holder stance are Reps. Nick Rahall, D-W.Va., and John Barrow, D-Ga.

~ But WILL they when the vote comes tomorrow?

Utah Rep. Jim Matheson also circulated a statement announcing he would support the GOP-led vote.

“Sadly, it seems that it will take holding the attorney general in contempt to communicate that evasiveness is unacceptable,” Matheson said.

He said the public, Congress and the family of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry — whose murder scene included weapons from the botched anti-gunrunning operation — “deserve answers.”

The announcement would seem to back up Issa’s claim over the weekend on “Fox News Sunday” that the vote will be “bipartisan.” Issa acknowledges many Democratic lawmakers will face considerable pressure on Thursday to support Holder.

A source familiar with those talks told Fox News that the Republicans met with administration officials twice Tuesday — at the Justice Department and at the White House. The Justice Department showed GOP staff 14 documents on the failed anti-gunrunning operation, totaling about 30 pages.

The House Rules Committee will tee up a Thursday floor vote on contempt by taking up two related contempt resolutions on Wednesday afternoon.

Matheson’s decision to support contempt could reflect his vulnerable political circumstances. He is the only Democrat from Utah in Congress, and is facing a tough reelection this fall after redistricting in the state.
