The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows Mitt Romney attracting 48% of the vote, while President Obama earns 43%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided.
Will you vote the values that will stand the test of fire? Some things are more important than high gas prices or a faltering economy. They are life, marriage and freedom. This November, Catholics must stand up and protect their sacred rights and duties
A group of liberal protesters brought their signs and megaphones in front of the office building that is home to Karl Rove’s “Crossroads GPS” PAC the other day and MRCTV was there to cover the nonsense.

What we found was that the majority of the groups who organized the rally were groups that had taken money from Billionaire George Soros. So, essentially, they were outraged at big conservative donors but willing to make excuses for big liberal donors who do exactly the same thing.
We also learned that while Mitt Romney will be taking millions of dollars in donations from wealthy individuals and corporations, Barack Obama will ONLY be getting money from regular Joes who are contributing $4 or $5 a pop.
We like these rallies. We always learn something new.
Prayer Warriors I am asking for prayers for my niece and her husband in Colorado. She is ill with a respiratory infection. A neglected respiratory infection by my brother, her father, which took his life because he waited too long for HC. Amy & her husband literally had to carry him into ER. Not only that but the home my Dad left them is under attack from Colorado fires. Amy is a wonderful Christian woman. Please pray for their safety and wellness! My daughter as you know also waited to long. Following this website, you know my daughter nearly lost her own life recently. Turns out she had sepsis and was so much sicker then originally thought. YOUR prayers and the Grace of God kept her alive when she should not have been. I had NO idea a new fire broke out near my niece. OMG! God, PLEASE keep them in your care & Protect them! I ask the same prayers for Amy and her husband right now. They have been forced to leave home. Sick. From Amy:
The fire here make it difficult to breath. We have had 100 degree plus weather here. We are moving into a house north of where we live now.
At least 7 fires are burning across Colo. as the state battles one of the most severe wildfire seasons in recent memory. The state’s governor says officials across the country recognize that it’ll take a big push to get the blazes under control.
The top Republican leading the House investigation into Operation Fast and Furious said Sunday he expects a “bipartisan” floor vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress this coming week.
“I believe they will (vote to hold him in contempt),” House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., told “Fox News Sunday.” “Both Republicans and Democrats will vote that — I believe it will be bipartisan.”
Court rulings suggest ‘privilege’ claim over ‘Furious’ docs would fizzle, Republicans say:
President Obama may have to clear a high bar in order to lock down Fast and Furious documents from the prying eyes of congressional investigators.
After the White House asserted executive privilege over potentially thousands of documents pertaining to the botched anti-gunrunning operation, critics of the move pointed out that the federal appeals court in the nation’s capital has taken a skeptical view toward privilege claims in the past.
The D.C. appeals court in 2004 rejected a privilege claim made by the George W. Bush White House pertaining to Justice Department documents dating back to the Clinton administration.
‘The privilege disappears altogether when there is any reason to believe government misconduct occurred.’
– D.C. appeals court in 2004
That case involved a different type of claim, but a 1997 opinion from the same court made an observation that could come back to haunt the Obama administration if the current case ends up before the federal judiciary.
“The privilege,” the court wrote, “disappears altogether when there is any reason to believe government misconduct occurred.”
Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., former House Judiciary Committee chairman, released a memo earlier this week citing that very line and decrying the administration’s argument as bunk.
“The president’s assertion of executive privilege is an illegal attempt to avoid responsibility for the department’s misconduct,” Sensenbrenner said.
He wrote in his memo that the privilege “cannot be used to protect documents in the face of wrongdoing.”
Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, told Fox News on Saturday the president’s executive privilege claim will trigger a civil suit “that we will file in federal court in D.C.”
Gohmert said Republicans will demand a “log” of all documents the White House is trying to lock down. “There may not be anything that’s privileged,” he said.
Wow! A large corporation that proudly proclaims our US Constitution and acknowledges the 2nd Amendment right in a marketing campaign! This ad agency has to have headquarters somewhere in flyover country, right?
Fantastic! We need more companies and corporations like this who are willing to stand up for things that made America great. Hooray for Denny’s.
