News Conference of Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s “Cold Case Posse”

Watch then Read…Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s special report on the investigation into Barack Obama’s eligibility.

h/t PF

The lead investigator in Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s review of the authenticity of Barack Obama’s birth certificate today unloaded a bombshell about the case: that he was told by sources members of the media were threatened with federal investigations should they continue to report on the birth certificate issue.

Lead investigator Mike Zullo told WND that as he was preparing information to be presented to the public “it was clear that the mainstream media was not going to be in attendance” at the sheriff’s scheduled new conference, where he presented facts suggesting both fraud and forgery in the image of a Hawaiian birth certificate that the White House released last yearas “proof positive” of Obama’s eligibility for office.

“During our investigation, we actually were told [that media] had been threatened with FTC investigations. Commentators [had been] threatened with their jobs,” Zullo said.

The threats were so intimidating that some individuals quit their positions over safety concerns for their families, he said.

So the problem became to get the information to the American public in spite of an intentional media blackout, since citizens still must make critical leadership decisions about their government through the election process.

The solution was an ebook with details from the investigation, the evidence that was accumulated, and the issues that remain for Arpaio and his investigators to pursue.

I had an epiphany leaving the polling place today. I am hoping it catches on. We were so excited over it because we have heard NO ONE voice it. So happy about it in fact that I called in to the Dr. Gina (which has generated the expected hate from Paulites) and Steve West show with it. Paulites are hating on me now BIG Time.

In Honor of Andrew Breitbart:

~ He is serving his last term. Easy to switch right now. This would be the BEST thing and most PATRIOTIC thing for Ron Paul to do. We believe even many dems would vote for him. Do it for Your Country! ~ JP

What a difference a week makes for President Obama, as rising gas prices put more and more pressure on his administration.

Last Tuesday at a news conference, the president insisted to Fox News that it was fallacy to think his team was in favor of higher gas prices to wean Americans off fossil fuels.

“You think the president of the United States going into reelection wants gas prices to go up higher?” the president asked. “Is that — is there anybody here who thinks that makes a lot of sense?”

Fast forward to this week, when the president’s Energy Secretary Steven Chu acknowledged Tuesday at a Senate hearing that he indeed told the Wall Street Journal in September 2008 that getting U.S. prices up to higher, European-level gas prices would help move Americans to use more renewables.

But with rising gas prices sinking the president’s approval rating in some new national polls, Chu says he has had a change of heart.

“Are you saying that you no longer share the view that we need to figure out how to boost gasoline prices in America?” Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, asked Chu.

“I no longer share that view,” the energy secretary said.

“But you did then, but you don’t now?” pressed Lee.

White House spokesman Jay Carney downplayed the shift and said the president did not tell Chu to clarify. He stressed that since Chu made the comments before he was in the administration, Republicans have taken them out of context to suggest it is administration policy.

“There has been an attempt — a partisan, largely partisan attempt — to try to take comments like that and pretend those are policy when in fact the policy reflects the contrary,” Carney said.

FULL Story…

President Obama’s approval rating has hit the lowest level ever in CBS News polling, according to the latest CBS News/New York Times survey. The drop may be partially attributable to rising gas prices.

Just 41 percent of Americans approve of the job Mr. Obama is doing as president, according to the poll, conducted from March 7 to 11. Another 47 percent disapprove of his performance, up from 41 percent last month.

Mr. Obama’s approval rating was 50 percent last month.

The average U.S. price of a gallon of gasoline has jumped 12 cents over the past two weeks. The poll found that most Americans, 54 percent, believe gas prices are something a president can do a lot about.

Americans have historically felt that a president can control gas prices, though experts attribute changes to a variety of factors, many outside of a president’s control. ( More that are IN Obama’s control he REFUSES to implement without this MSM spin! )They also felt this way when gas prices spiked during the administration of former President George W. Bush.

Obama: ‘As Long As Gas Prices Are Going Up, People Are Going to Feel Like I’m Not Doing Enough’

WFTV in Orlando asked President Obama about gas prices in an interview today. Specifically, President Obama was asked whether he’s “doing enough to control gas prices.” Here’s President Obama’s response:

It won’t be something monumental that will take him down, it won’t be all the things wrong in our country right now. It will be gas prices. ~ JP

Lenticular cloud over Reno

Looking in the other direction, toward Reno, Nevada. The stiff winds blowing over Mount Rose are creating lenticular clouds over the valley to the east.

I came across a video uploaded by jeffmtz showing some really nice lenticular clouds, kinda UFO-looking, that occurred yesterday in Reno. This inspired me to try to find additional footage from the same area of the same day. Voila!! once in a blue moon, such endeavors are rewarded by finding some cool extra footage. by Sheilaaliens on Mar 12, 2012

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas has released a new video exposing just how easy it is to commit voter fraud in Vermont.

The video, a sequel to O’Keefe’s “Primary of the Living Dead” in New Hampshire, shows a Veritas agent entering various voting places around the state of Vermont, giving a different name each time. Each time, he is given a ballot without showing an ID, to his disbelief.

In the video, the agent repeatedly requests (but does not take) a Republican primary ballot. As he explained to “We wanted to remind viewers this is not a partisan issue. This is a situation wherein anyone — Republican or Democrat — can exploit the system.”

The new video follows in the wake of a highly-politicized media attack on Mr. O’Keefe after his exposure of voter fraud in New Hampshire. Those videos resulted in calls from the left for O’Keefe’s arrest. However, the videos soon resulted in the New Hampshire State Senate passing a new bill requiring voter ID.

O’Keefe’s new video from Vermont could not be more timely, coming the day after the U.S. Department of Justice’s civil rights division blocked a Texas photo ID requirement for voters–to the applause of the American Civil Liberties Union, which claimed that the law was “discriminatory” against “Latinos, African-Americans, elderly citizens, and others.”

As the Project Veritas video shows, the current system in Vermont discriminates against actual legal voters, who must face the prospect of disenfranchisement by those who would vote in their stead illegally, or have their votes cancelled out by those voting illegally in place of deceased voters who have yet to be removed from the rolls. If it is not discriminatory for Vermont citizens to be required to show ID to get married or buy alcohol, it is certainly not discriminatory to make them show ID to vote.

On Super Tuesday in Vermont, Poll workers caught on tape handing out Ballots in names of dead people and giving out ballots in living people’s names to anyone who walked in. Bars, hotels and city clerk issuing civil union all required ID.

They handed the ballots out to people under the following names:

Adam Berger
Cooper Fellows
Roger Audette DEAD
John E. Adams
Lucas Hertweck
Mahamud Somo DEAD
Travis Houle
Evan R Bean

“It is a national disgrace that ballots can be given out in the names of dead people,” O’Keefe told “Threats of government intimidation will not stop us from protecting the integrity of the ballot box. If any state has a system which encourages ballots to be given out to the wrong person, dead or alive, we will come to your state, we will film your poll workers, and Project Veritas will put the videos on YouTube. States like Vermont and New Hampshire have to take dead people off voter registration forms and clean up their act, once and for all.”

“We can’t seem to get away from Rush Limbaugh,” Barbara Walters said at the beginning of today’s episode of The View. Yes, the controversial radio host was the first hot topic on the show. Again. This time, the panel was discussing an open letter written by Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem and Robin Morgan calling for Limbaugh’s show to be taken off the air, because although he may be “constitutionally entitled to his opinions,” they argued that he was not entitled to express them on the radio.

Joy Behar, who would probably be most sympathetic to this kind of petition, decided that she had to disagree with her “sisters,” (really?) saying that she thought the free market ought to determine who stays on the air and who goes. Elisabeth Hasselbeck already seemed very heated about the issue, wondering why these feminists weren’t “burning their bras” (really?) when conservative women suffered personal attacks in the media. Walters countered with a list of radio and TV personalities who were fired for offensive remarks — from Don Imus to Juan Williams to Rick Sanchez, but noted the distinction was that they were fired by their bosses and not the FCC, which is what Fonda, Steinem and Morgan were advocating for.

United Nations (CNN) — The U.N. Security Council focused Monday on the crisis in Syria, with the United States and Britain pushing for quick action on a resolution and Russia warning against a “take-it-or-leave-it” approach.

At least 45 women and children were stabbed and burned to death late Sunday in the Syrian city of Homs, opposition activists said, after peace talks between a U.N. special envoy and the Syrian regime failed to yield a cease-fire.

The slaughter in Homs took place in the Karm al Zaytoun neighborhood, according to the Local Coordination Committees of Syria, a network of opposition activists. The Adawiya neighborhood of Homs was also involved, according to the London-based Syrian Network for Human Rights.

Children were stabbed to death in front of their mothers, and women and minor girls were sexually assaulted before being shot, according to the human rights network.

Hadi Abdallah, a spokesman for the opposition Syrian Revolution General Council, said the attacks occurred after “Syrian forces and thugs” stormed homes.

Life and death under Syria’s military onslaught

The LCC called the killings a “massacre orchestrated by the regime” of President Bashar al-Assad.

Former Israeli Mossad head Meir Dagan is by all accounts a tough, hard, no-nonsense defender of his country. Bloomberg writer Jeffrey Goldberg writes of him,

In a country of hard men, Meir Dagan, the recently retired head of the Mossad, Israel’s foreign intelligence service, is one of the hardest. He is the Siberian-born son of Holocaust survivors, an ex- commando who has arranged the assassinations of many of Israel’s enemies.

He is devoted (?!) to the defense of his country, and, like most of Israel’s samurai class, sees Iran, and its Jew- hating, missile-obsessed leadership, as his country’s foremost threat, because of its nuclear intentions and its support for the Islamist terror groups that seek Israel’s destruction.

So it has come to the shock and surprise of many warhawks that this front-line defender of Israel is contradicting their spin against Iran. Dagan claims that the Iranian regime is “very rational,” and that “An attack on Iran before you are exploring all other approaches is not the right way how to do it.” (Video below.)

In fact, Dagan has called a pre-emptive strike “a stupid idea.”
