Campaign Managers Wouldn’t Let Us Investigate Obama’s Radical Ties:

h/t Breitbart

Sarah Palin talked about Presiden’t Obama’s ties to Harvard professor Derrick Bell on Sean Hannity Thursday night. Palin said that the media should have vetted President Obama in the last election and that handlers in the McCain 2008 campaign stifled discussion about Obama’s past.

Obama Is Bringing America Back to Days Before the Civil War

Ouch! Sarah Palin said Barack Obama is taking America back to days before the Civil War with his constant class warfare.

On Obama Accepting Bill Maher’s Dirty Money: I Don’t know How He Can Sleep at Night:

Sarah Palin responds to vile attacks by Bill Maher.

“I don’t know how anyone can sit in the audience of a commentator like Bill Maher and chuckle and laugh and think that’s entertaining. I think it’s disgusting. And this dirty money that he has now provided Barack Obama’s campaign – I don’t know how Barack Obama can sleep at night if he really thinks about Sasha and Mahlia and the treatment of some women today, how he can accept that dirty money. Granted Barack Obama has never been seen in the conventional, traditional way of we who describe a man of valor, so it shouldn’t surprise us that Barack Obama would accept that dirty money.

Bell: ‘I Live To Harass White Folks’

Via Lachlan Markay at Heritage, we learn a Derrick A. Bell visited the Obama White House twice in 2010. The White House did not return a request for comment. The visits were on 1/29/2010, a Friday, and 1/31/2010, a Sunday. For now, a web search of news reports did not turn up why Bell may have been in Washington that particular weekend.

Heritage could not independently confirm that the Derrick A. Bell listed is the same individual who spoke at the rally. The White House did not return a request for comment.

In the video, Obama tells the crowd to “Open your hearts and open your minds to the words of professor Derrick Bell.” Those words tended to be quite controversial. Bell is widely credited with pioneering the field of Critical Race Theory, a radical school of legal thought that holds that the American legal and political systems are inherently racist.

Birmingham, AL – Alabama state Senator Scott Beason released an overview of his plan to reduce gas prices on Tuesday. He stated that he would push for legislation which supports the following:

–Open ANWR and other areas where we know we have untapped reserves to energy exploration and drilling,

–Approve the Keystone Pipeline. The U.S. State Department has concluded construction of the pipeline poses minimal environmental risk and Congress should use its authority under the Commerce Clause to approve completion,

–Remove the de facto moratorium on offshore drilling. By allowing drilling to resume, we can immediately increase supply, create jobs and bring revenue to both state and federal budgets.

–“Everyone in the district feels this pain every time they pull up at the gas station,” said Beason. “Many of us can no longer afford to fill up the complete tank, and it looks like things are only going to get worse.”

Senator Beason is running against Spencer Bachus for the Republican nomination in Alabama’s sixth congressional district.

ABC 33/40

* If you are in Alabama’s 6th district please help us get Spencer Bachus O U T !!! Bachus has become the face of a congressional “insider trading” scandal that has rocked the Washington establishment as 2011 draws to a close. Rep. Spencer Bachus, Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, was one of the principal targets of a 60 Minutes investigative report on the scandal, which aired on CBS in September 2011. In Alabama it has been demanded he resign. Andrew Breitbart was helping Dr. Gina Loudon to see this happen.

Israeli prime minister warns that Iran’s nuclear weapons threat must be taken seriously by the world before it’s too late

The U.S. has allegedly offered Israel advanced weapons such as bunker-busting bombs and refueling planes in exchange for an agreement to postpone an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities until 2013, according to a report by the Maariv Israeli News Service.

President Obama reportedly made the offer on Monday during Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Washington.

The White House has denied that any such agreement was proposed or reached.

A Montgomery Count sheriff’s deputy walks away from an old school bus where two children were found living on their own Wednesday in Spendora, Texas.

The imprisoned father of two Texas children found living in an abandoned school bus is claiming the home was only meant to be temporary.

Mark Shorten said he planned to build a house on a wooded lot near Houston before he and his wife were arrested for embezzlement in 2010. Child welfare officials took custody of his children earlier this week after the siblings — a 5-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl — were found living in the dilapidated bus at the end of a muddy, one-lane road in Splendora, home to one of the poorest school districts in the state.

Fox affiliate KRIV-TV reported Thursday that no charges have been filed yet in the case. The children’s parents are in federal prison for stealing money from victims of Hurricane Ike, which struck in 2008, according to the station.

No Charges as Investigation Continues into Kids Living in Bus:

The postal carrier saw the kids Wednesday near Houston, and the two were swiftly placed in foster care while authorities investigate.

“The little girl’s hair was just matted, like a stray dog’s,” Vanessa Picazo said.

The father of the pair said he never intended for the bus to be a permanent home. He said the family had planned to build a house at the site, which was now strewn with reeking trash.

“The house is normally clean. If me or my wife were there, it would not be in that shape, I assure you,” Shorten said. “Our house would be completed or almost completed.”

Randal McCann, a Louisiana attorney who represented the children’s mother prior to her imprisonment, said an aunt had been taking care of the kids since the case against the parents was launched more than a year ago. The kids were not enrolled in school.

WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Polish health authorities have ordered the withdrawal from the market of more than 230,000 kilograms (500,000 pounds) of pickles, bread and other food suspected of containing industrial salt, the latest development in a scandal raising fears about food safety.

The withdrawn foods include vegetables that are preserved in salts, likes pickles and sauerkraut and beets, but also sausages and breads and other baked goods.

Laboratory tests have found that the amounts of dioxins and heavy metals in the salt are minimal and unlikely to harm human health. Nonetheless, health inspectors ordered the removal as a precaution, officials said Friday.

Revelations that industrial salt was sold to food producers has prompted authorities to open a criminal investigation and arrest five people. More than 600 tests have also been carried out on food samples. The industrial salt was intended for deicing roads in winter.

Poland is a major regional food exporter, and officials fear the issue will hurt its reputation in a sector key to an economy that has grown fast in recent years. With much of its territory devoted to agriculture, Poland produces everything from apples and beets to eggs and meat that gets sold to Germany and other neighboring countries.

It said that three companies in northern and western Poland are suspected of selling industrial salt to food producers, a violation that came to light nearly two weeks ago and which has left Polish officials scrambling to ensure that food on the market is safe.

The food producers that used the questionable salt have been told not to let the foods leave their warehouses.

Agriculture Minister Marek Sawicki said he was worried that the scandal — which has received a lot of media coverage in Poland — is unfairly hurting the image of Poland’s food.

“We worked too long for the good image of Polish products and Polish food to let one or more cheats destroy our image now,” Sawicki said Thursday.
