The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is exploiting recent criticism of the New York Police Department’s surveillance of a Muslim students group and some mosques to acquire legitimacy and intimidate police departments to promise not to investigate Islamic groups.

CAIR has been described as a front for Hamas by federal law enforcement.

After a meeting Tuesday, CAIR’s Chicago chapter announced that Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy will speak Saturday night at CAIR-Chicago’s annual fundraising banquet. In their meeting, McCarthy reportedly said surveillance by Chicago police would not be used in intelligence gathering as it was in New York.

“We want to know, should we be concerned about this happening in Chicago?” CAIR-Chicago Executive Director Ahmed Rehab told Fox News. “And if the answer is no, we need him to come out and say this was wrong.”

The NYPD has been criticized for surveillance programs, nearly all of which involved activity and material in the public domain, of Muslim subjects including the Muslim Students Association. As the Investigative Project on Terrorism reported last week, the MSA was created by the Muslim Brotherhood and has a disturbing history of spawning people involved in terrorist plots and spewing radical rhetoric.

By yielding to CAIR pressure, the city’s top police officer will share the microphone with an imam tied to a Hamas-support network which court papers indicate was responsible for CAIR’s very creation.

Kifah Mustapha, head imam at the Mosque Foundation in Bridgeview, is being honored with the chapter’s “Mobilizer Award.”

Mustapha is suing the Illinois State Police after being rejected in his bid to become the agency’s first Muslim chaplain. The decision followed a report by the Investigative Project on Terrorism showing he raised money for the Holy Land Foundation, which saw five former officials convicted in 2008 for illegally routing millions of dollars to the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

He also sang in a band which frequently performed at HLF fundraisers. In a videotaped performance entered into evidence at the HLF trial, a Hamas caption in shown the background and Mustapha can be heard in the chorus reiterating Hamas’ call for jihad:

“O mother, Hamas for Jihad. Over mosques’ loudspeakers, with freedom. Every day it resists with stones and the dagger. Tomorrow, with God’s help, it will be with a machine gun and a rifle.”

Big Hail Possible

Bill Murray | 3:23 pm March 2, 2012

That is a big storm crossing US-82 between Columbus and Reform in northern Pickens County.

It shows possible hail to 4 inches! That’s the size of grapefruit!

It will pass between Reform and Millport/Kennedy.

Be in a safe place as this storm approaches. Hail and damaging winds are likely. It could also produce a tornado, even though there is no serious rotation at this time.

The NWS in Memphis just issued a tornado warning for Itawamba and Monroe Counties in Mississippi for a storm northwest of Aberdeen. This storm will reach northern Lamar and Marion Counties around 3:45. It will pass near or between Hamilton and Guin, then possibly north or near Brilliant. We want our friends in Lamar/Marion County to start getting ready now.

The tornado outbreak is here. Watches are in yellow, current warnings in red

~ AL. Tornado Watch JUST issued

Round One Reports from the Tennessee Valley, More Severe Weather Ahead

We have already experienced round one of severe weather from this outbreak. More severe weather will develop this afternoon. Please make sure you have a plan for any places that you will be this afternoon and tonight in case a tornado warning is issued. Be sure that you have multiple sources for receiving weather warnings.

In the Tennessee Valley, upwards of 50,000 people are without power. This is bad news given that there is more severe weather ahead this afternoon and tonight.

The Tennessee Valley of extreme North Alabama has been hit by several tornadoes and there is considerable damage. However, within the last 15 or 20 minutes, some of the most intense thunderstorms have crossed over into Southern Tennessee, mainly west and southwest of Chattanooga. The storms are moving rapidly northeast. A good part of Tennessee is under a High Risk of severe weather today and tonight and at least two-thirds of Alabama are under a Moderate Risk including all of North and Central Alabama.

At 11:10 a.m., there were no strong thunderstorms within at least a 50-mile radius of Birmingham.

Earlier some homes were destroyed near Huntsville. The high school was damaged but no known injuries. Perhaps one of the more significant reports of damage was at Limestone Prison. Numerous fences were down and there are multiple injuries at the prison. Another report tells of an 18-wheeler being overturned on Jeff Road.

Remember, we must emphasis that this is a major threat of severe weather, so we must keep our guard up all afternoon and all night. We cannot rule out some long-track tornadoes, even in Central Alabama, later this afternoon. Individual thunderstorms this afternoon will become severe. This weather pattern tends to favor them forming a long line of thunderstorms late today and tonight and racing toward the east and southeast rather quickly. These type storms almost always create a lot of damage, not only to homes and buildings, but uprooting thousands of trees.

So it is important all afternoon and night to stay alert and keep abreast of the very latest weather information and be ready to take action quickly.

Dear Readers,

Taylor Marie here to talk about the video “Bully Suicide Projects-Stories”,this video really made me cry and I really felt like I could relate to the poor victims of bullying. I’ve actually heard the story of Carl Walker Hoover before on the tv show Extreme Home Makeover.

When I had first heard his story, it really touched me and I mean what kind of people sit there and just taunt and hurt someone until they commit suicide or just blow up?!?! ~X( at wits’ end I know how it feels to be bullied, how it feels to be alone, how you ACTUALLY start to believe half of these things the bully say. Bruises go away easily, but those words` are always there in your mind but always know your not alone, there’s always someone there for you.;) winking
Love,
Taylor Marie<3

These kids lost their voice by taking their lives cause they wanted the pain to stop. We will not stop until they get what they want. We do this to stop bullying for good.

All my wonderful youth and those who still carry their hurt into adulthood. Please know that God sang the day you were born and He knew your name before your parents knew one another. Your character defines you not those insecure jerks who can only measure their worth by putting others down.

I have been through this, I’m a Christian gay, and yes it hurt, but that hurt became a vehicle of strength where I could help others because I could talk to them from my heart and not a textbook.

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama said his apology for the burning of Korans at a U.S. military base has “calmed things down” in Afghanistan, after the incident triggered an outbreak of violence that left four U.S. service members and dozens of Afghans dead last week.

Two more American troops were reported killed by an Afghan soldier and civilian opening fire on them.

KABUL, Afghanistan — Two American service members were killed Thursday in a shooting by an Afghan soldier and a literacy teacher at a joint base in southern Afghanistan, officials said, the latest in a series of deaths as anti-Americanism rises following the burning of Korans by U.S. troops.

Both were killed on the same day that the top NATO commander allowed a small number of foreign advisers to return to work at Afghan ministries after more than a week of being locked down in secure locations because of the killing of two other Americans.

Thursday’s killings raised to six the number of Americans killed in less than two weeks amid heightened tensions over the Feb, 20 burning of Korans and other Islamic texts that had been dumped in a garbage pit at Bagram Air Field near Kabul. More than 30 Afghans also were killed in six days of violent riots that broke out after the incident.

~ So sure, Obama it really did slow the killings of our troops down!
