Thanks to Right Scoop…

Comment from poster ~ Wow, Herman is Herman. I can’t remember the last time a president or presidential candidate boldly mention Jesus. Very refreshing and what a original man. You inspires me…THANK YOU — 1374sports

~ Here is the above mentioned video:

It shows JUST how well he is coping with the smear tactics of the Left. Rush, in today’s show said, “We Should Not be Surprised by the Left’s Racist Hit Job on Herman Cain”

What’s next, folks? A cartoon on MSNBC showing Herman Cain with huge lips eating a watermelon? What are they gonna do next? No, Snerdley, I’m not kidding. The racial stereotypes that these people are using to go after Herman Cain, what is the one thing that it tells us? It tells us who the real racists are, yeah, but it tells us that Herman Cain is somebody. Something’s going on out there. Herman Cain obviously is making some people nervous for this kind of thing to happen.

Rush also queried , “Who Leaked the Cain Story?”.

CALLER: I am not certain, I guess with Herman Cain’s recent poll numbers showing him maintaining the lead over all these Republican candidates with more money, are we sure this attack on Herman Cain isn’t coming from a Republican presidential candidate’s camp?

RUSH: Like who? Name names.

Business Insider gives food for though:

Can the Herman Cain campaign recover from the decade-old harassment allegations that were just brought up to life?

Cain has been leading in the polls and has been gaining more and more support, but his Republican rivals are surely using every opportunity to trip his presidential bid.

~ So many of us believe it was the left, but also many believe it was a GOP contender. Who stands to gain with Herman’s woes? All I know is I hope some amazing blogger finds out who did it! ~ JP

On Martin Bashir’s television program this afternoon, Democratic strategist and MSNBC analyst Karen Finney said that Republicans are supporting Herman Cain because of his race:

“Very seriously, and this is a little harsh, but one of the things about Herman Cain is, I think that he makes that white Republican base of the party feel OK, feel like they are not racist because they can like this guy. I think he is giving that base a free pass and I think they like him because they think he is a black man that knows his place. And I know that’s harsh, but that’s how it sure seems to me.”

“Thank you for spelling that out,” Bashir responded.

This isn’t the first time liberals have made this kind of charge about Cain and his supporters. During an online production of NBC’s Meet the Press this week, Democratic congressman Elijah Cummings of Maryland said white voters support Cain to show they aren’t racist. “I think when [members of the Tea Party] can vote for a Herman Cain and hear him say the things that he says they feel like, ‘Well, you know, I can, I support this guy and…so it shows that I’m not racist and I’m supportive,’” Cummings told host David Gregory.

Liberal comedienne Janeane Garafalo told Current TV host Keith Olbermann earlier this month that Cain is popular with Republicans because it “hides the racist element” of the party. Watch this punk Here

~ I have seen these tactics for a very long time. There was no bigger corrupt town than Chicago or the ‘Daley Machine’. It was the best education into perceptive politics appealing to voters through intimidation or commercials. Find me a ‘squeaky clean’ candidate & I will show you a robot. Until it is proven or worthy of these slander politics this post is the first & last on it. My purpose of informing you of this is to not let you change your mind on Herman unless he has ‘EARNED’ distrust. Until then this is a Politico attack piece. NOTE: “These are thinly sourced allegations.” ~ JP

Exclusive interview JUST a short time ago:

Herman Cain vehemently denied allegations of inappropriate behavior on Monday, telling Fox News that he was falsely accused while head of the National Restaurant Association more than a decade ago.

“I have never sexually harassed anyone,” Cain said. “I was falsely accused while I was at the National Restaurant Association — and I say ‘falsely’ because it turned out, after the investigation, to be baseless.”

The allegations stem from a (Left leaning) Politico report (unverified) that two women, who were subordinates to Cain at the time, accused him of inappropriate behavior and reportedly received five-figure payouts after signing an agreement with the trade association — an agreement that also barred them from discussing the matter. Cain was the CEO of the association from 1996-1999.

JERUSALEM — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to execute a 1,000-for-1 prisoner exchange last week despite his frequently voiced opposition to such lopsided deals is seen by several Israeli military commentators as an effort to “clear the deck” before possibly undertaking an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Amir Oren, the veteran military analyst for Ha’aretz newspaper, took note of Israel’s exchanging 1,027 Palestinian convicts for army Staff Sgt. Gilad Schalit, who had been captured by Hamas in 2006. Mr. Oren wrote that the price paid by Mr. Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak “can be interpreted only in a context that goes beyond that of the Gilad Schalit deal.”

He noted that Israeli leaders in the past have shown a readiness to absorb “a small loss” in order to attain a greater success, generally involving “some sort of military adventure.”

:: Bunker Busted: Israel planning Iran nuke plant strike? ::

As the U.S. continues to stand by Israel, Washington’s now coming under fire for new revelations of its dealings with the country. It’s claimed the White House sold dozens of bunker-buster bombs to Tel Aviv – weapons best suited for destroying underground nuclear facilities in Iran. A deal to buy the bombs during the Bush administration in 2005 foundered over concerns Israel could pass the technology on to China. But claims have now emerged that the weapons were secretly released shortly after Obama took office in 2009. Observers fear the move could lead to a new war.

Passengers forced to wait with no food, water or working restrooms. Airline refunds tickets, and offeres vouchers.

NOTE: Potential fines of $25k per passenger, per airplane…

HARTFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork/AP) — It was a passengers’ nightmare at Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Conn., this weekend.

Passengers on three JetBlue planes and one American Airline plane say they were stranded on the tarmac for seven hours or more after being diverted from New York-area airports.

The ordeal continued after they were let off and had to spend the night on cots and chairs in the terminal.

A passenger on one of the diverted JetBlue planes says the crew ran out of snacks and bottled water for the last few hours of the delay.

“The toilets were backed up. When you flushed, nothing would happen,” said Andrew Carter, a reporter for the Sun Sentinel of Florida, who was traveling to cover the Miami Dolphins game against the New York Giants. His plane took off from Fort Lauderdale for Newark Liberty International Airport at around 9 a.m. After being diverted to Hartford, the plane sat on the tarmac between around 1:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., he said.

Beacon Power, Backed by U.S. Loan Guarantees, Files Bankruptcy…

~ I say FIRE Steven Chu and Jobs Czar Jeffrey Immelt for starters. And thoroughly investigate the D.O.E. JUST look at their website and how they are NOT backing off investments in these loser companies with YOUR tax dollars! For Example:

– October 25, 2011 ~ Department of Energy to Invest $60 Million to Develop Innovative Concentrating Solar Power Technologies

Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) — Beacon Power Corp., an energy- storage company that received $43 million in backing from the U.S. program that supported failed solar-panel maker Solyndra LLC, filed for bankruptcy after struggling to raise private financing.

The money-losing company, which makes flywheels that manage energy moving through a power grid, had sought to avoid the fate of Solyndra, which entered bankruptcy last month after receiving a $535 million loan guarantee from a U.S. Energy Department program designed to spur alternative energy development. Beacon faced delisting of its shares by the Nasdaq Stock Market and warned in an Aug. 9 regulatory filing that it might not remain a “going concern.”

“The current economic and political climate, the financing terms mandated by DOE, and Beacon’s recent delisting notice from Nasdaq have together severely restricted Beacon’s access to additional investments through the equity markets,” Chief Executive Officer F. William Capp said in papers filed yesterday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware.

Beacon, based in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, listed assets of $72 million and debt of $47 million in its Chapter 11 petition. Two affiliates also entered court protection.

More to follow. This was from AP via Twitter…

URGENT: United Nations cultural agency UNESCO, in test vote of recognition, grants full membership to Palestinians over threat of defunding by U.S.

~ We should have kicked the lousy U. N. out of our country lonnng ago!

The acceptance of the Palestinian mission into the U.N.’s cultural and educational agency could result in backlash from Washington, which is required by law to cut off funding to the agency if a Palestinian Liberation Organization is granted membership in any group at the international body.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization voted 107-14 with 52 abstentions on Monday granting Palestinians full membership in the organization. The U.S. voted against the nomination. Eighty-one votes of the 173 UNESCO members were needed for full membership to be approved.

“Long Live Palestine!” one delegate reportedly shouted in French at the meeting.

~ JUST no words!

The U.S. funds about 22 percent of UNESCO’s budget, or roughly $80 million annually.

The State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment, though U.S. ambassador to UNESCO David Killion reportedly said the vote will “complicate” U.S. efforts to support the group.

An aide to House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairwoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen said the congresswoman supports full enforcement of the law, without exception.

Ros-Lehtinen, R-Calif., has also introduced legislation that would withhold U.S. contributions from any U.N. agency or program that “upgrades” the status of the Palestinian observer mission at the U.N, whether full membership or not.

Ros-Lehtinen has previously argued efforts at de facto recognition of a Palestinian state is an attempt to evade a negotiated settlement with Israel.

That proposal comes as Palestinian officials continue to seek full membership in the U.N. General Assembly. The U.S. has threatened to veto a Security Council vote for Palestinian membership unless a Mideast peace agreement with Israel is reached.

Israel’s ambassador to UNESCO Nimrod Barkan told Reuters that the vote is a tragedy.

“UNESCO deals in science, not science fiction,” he reportedly said. “They forced on UNESCO a political subject out of its competence.”
