Here’s a preview:

UPDATE:

~ Shades of the Lindberg baby

The parents of a 10-month-old Kansas City girl who disappeared from her bed days ago have been cooperative and aren’t considered suspects, police said, as federal agents searched the family’s home with dogs.

Lisa Irwin was last seen around 10:30 p.m. Monday when her mother put her to bed. Her father, an electrician, discovered Lisa missing when he got home around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday from a late-night shift at work, police said.

NOTE: Lisa has blue eyes and blonde hair. She is 30 inches tall and weighs around 28 pounds, police said, and was wearing purple shorts and a purple shirt with white kittens on it.

Police have said they are investigating the possibility that someone entered the home through a front window and snatched the baby. Police said it appears a window at the home may have been tampered with, Fox affiliate WDAF-TV reports.

~ My question is WHY would they Cancel the Amber Alert?…

Reply from police: An Amber Alert issued for Lisa Tuesday morning was called off after 12 hours. Police said that was just a formality because the alerts are designed to raise awareness early in an investigation. Is it JUST me or is this an asinine explanation?

Asked why they were there, some Hispanic protesters holding up English protest signs could not articulate what their signs said.

A liberal organizer told the Daily Caller on Thursday afternoon that he paid some Hispanics to attend “Occupy DC” protests happening in the nation’s capital.

TheDC attended the protest event, an expansion of the “Occupy Wall Street” movement that began in New York City. Some aspects of the protest, it turned out, are more Astroturf than grassroots.

One group of about ten Hispanic protesters marched behind a Caucasian individual from the DC Tenants Advocacy Coalition, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting rent control in Washington, D.C.

Asked why they were there, some Hispanic protesters holding up English protest signs could not articulate what their signs said.

Interviewed in Spanish, the protesters told conflicting stories about how their group was organized. Some said it was organized at their church, and that they were there as volunteers. Others, however, referred to the man from the DC Tenants Advocacy Coalition — the only Caucasian in the group — as their “boss.”

TheDC asked that organizer whether he was paying the group to attend the protest, and he conceded that some protesters “aren’t” volunteers.

“Some of them are volunteers. Some of them aren’t,” he explained. “I can’t identify them. I’m not going to get into an identification game.”

~ Meanwhile Obama Voices Empathy With ‘Frustration’ Behind Anti-Wall Street Protests:

Three weeks into a growing protest movement targeting Wall Street and the nation’s financial services sector, President Obama expressed empathy Thursday for the demonstrators, even going so far as to elevate them as a force in the 2012 election cycle.

“I think part of people’s frustrations, part of my frustration, was a lot of [lending] practices that should not have been allowed weren’t necessarily against the law, but they had a huge destructive impact,” the president said at a midday news conference Thursday.

The protestors, he added, “are giving voice to a more broad-based frustration about how our financial system works…and that’s going to express itself politically in 2012 and beyond.”

WASHINGTON (AP) — In challenging Republicans to get behind his jobs bill Thursday,

Obama argued Republicans have supported his proposals before, demanded that they explain themselves if they oppose him, and challenged others to come up with a plan of their own. The rhetoric in the president’s quick-moving press conference dodged some facts and left some evidence in the dust.

OBAMA: “If it turns out that there are Republicans who are opposed to this bill, they need to explain to me, but more importantly to their constituencies and the American people, why they’re opposed, and what would they do.”

GOP freshman: Senate Dems should ‘get off their rear ends,’ pass a budget

Freshman Republican Rep. Mike Kelly, gathering with a group of his first-term House colleagues, demanded that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and the Democrat-controlled Senate “get off their rear ends” and pass a budget. The group of GOP House freshmen called this a “basic legislative responsibility” that Reid has ignored for 888 days.

THE FACTS: While Republicans might not be campaigning on their opposition to Obama’s plan, they’ve hardly kept their objections a secret.

Stand up, Mr. President, and shoulder your own responsibility. Take it like a man — – Joan R. Neubauer

In her article today, she expressed him the best:

Obama disingenuousness in his speeches… She went on to tell him: Stand up, Mr. President, and shoulder your own responsibility. Take it like a man. Which is the very advice I heard Michael Reagan give to Obama on Cavuto’s show today. Obama blamed Bush for everything. He blames the Tea Party for his manufractured (intentional) Now he blames Congress, threatening today, “Americans will send you home if you don’t pass my jobs bill!” Bah!

Joan concurs in her piece today:

As Mr. Obama travels from fundraiser to fundraiser and stump to stump making speeches, he once again reminds us of his proclivity for disingenuousness.

At a stop in Mesquite, Texas, Obama once more called upon Congress to “pass this jobs bill.”

With a straight face, he claimed that if Congress didn’t pass his jobs bill, most of the people in the audience would see their taxes go up. What he didn’t say was that if Congress did indeed pass his jobs bill, they’d still see their taxes go up, probably far more than if the bill didn’t pass.

Obama knows perfectly well that of all the people in that room, roughly 47 percent, a reflection of the national average, probably don’t pay any federal taxes anyway. He also knows that the best that the federal government can do in the way of job creation is small numbers of short-term jobs. Yet, he continues to push his jobs bill with a zeal I didn’t know he had.

Obama knows this bill will never pass Congress. The Republican-held House will never bring it up for a vote, and not even the Democrat-controlled Senate has the votes to pass it and they know it. At the end of the day, everyone knows it’s a bad bill, even its perpetrator, Obama.

So what’s his motivation? Read the rest of her dead on article HERE.
