Casey Anthony trial adjourned until Monday: MyFoxORLANDO.com

Whether Casey Anthony testifies or not, legal analysts, trial observers and mental-health experts agree the defense team must try to explain her behavior and her raft of lies in the wake of her daughter’s death.

Consider the prosecution’s theory of murder — or the defense’s: that 2-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony died in an accidental drowning.

Both scenarios precede a month long span during which — the prosecution and defense agree — Casey Anthony created an alternate reality for her friends and her family.

Asteroid the size of an office block to narrowly miss Earth on Monday (6/27/)

An asteroid the size of a large house will zip within 8,000 miles of Earth at about midday on Monday. That’s at least double the size of the asteroids that have previously been observed so close to Earth.

Called 2011 MD, the asteroid was discovered late on Wednesday by an automated asteroid-hunting telescope run by the MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s LINEAR programme, which has already discovered more than 2,000 near-Earth objects. The Freeing Of Geert Wilders

Political Correctness: The acquittal, on hate-speech charges, of the Dutch politician who spoke the truth about Islamofascism is a victory for freedom and free speech. The truth may yet keep us free. Somewhere Voltaire is smiling, for he would have defended to the death the Dutch politician’s right to speak his mind about militant Islam and immigration and the threats he felt both posed to his country and democracy at large.

:: ‘Geert Wilders verdict: Victory for Free Speech’ ::

The far-right Dutch politician Geert Wilders, tried for ‘inciting hatred and discrimination’, has been cleared of all charges. He had reportedly described Islam as ‘a fascist religion that allows terrorism’ and called for the Koran to be banned. Wilders insisted his comments were not directed at Muslim believers but at Islam – and they formed a legitimate political debate.
