~ This has weighed heavily on many of us Alabamians collective minds.

Do you have any doubt Obama is only concerned with his camPAIN trail? He releases a so-called birth certificate. Only after Trump hounded on it.

He makes a photo op stop in Tuscaloosa, despite the fact as the following will attest to so many towns/cities & counties are in dire straits.

He takes single-handed credit for OBL being killed. Although they knew back in October. But the heck with that he’s most likely been dead for a decade.

So what happens because of all of this? Alabama gets knocked out of the news. I am disappointed especially in FOX on the web, for they had NO mention of anything! Most State run media buried us in the news a mere five days after our devastation. JUST Piper scours our local news to bring our users of what is truly going on…~JP

So please pay attention to the following & PLEASE, please don’t forget us.

39 Alabama counties now approved for disaster aid

ATLANTA (AP) – The Atlanta Braves are donating $100,000 to the Salvation Army and encouraging fans to help with relief efforts after last week’s deadly Southern storms.

State funding for education was already very low, but after the April 27 tornadoes, many teachers and schools lost what little they had. Mandee McDonald, a first-grade teacher at Trace Crossing Elementary in Hoover said she has started a network to help devastated schools, teachers and students out.

The Jefferson County school system is dealing with major losses from last week’s deadly tornadoes.

Wednesday the Jefferson County Board of Education took a moment of silence to remember some of those lost in the storm, including Tracy Traweek, 39 of Pleasant Grove, who worked as a school assistant for curriculum instruction at the board. Traweek was a mother of three.

The school system also lost two students at Concord Elementary: Mikie Krider, 10, his eight-year-old sister, Lexie, and their mother, Michelle Krider, 30.

The board also lost Deniece Presley, a custodian at Bottenfield Middle School.

Malicious Software Features Usama bin Laden Links to Ensnare Unsuspecting Computer Users:

The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) urges computer users to not open unsolicited (spam) e-mails, including clicking links contained within those messages. Even if the sender is familiar, the public should exercise due diligence. Computer owners must ensure they have up-to-date firewall and anti-virus software running on their machines to detect and deflect malicious software.

The IC3 recommends the public do the following:

Adjust the privacy settings on social networking sites you frequent to make it more difficult for people you know and do not know to post content to your page. Even a “friend” can unknowingly pass on multimedia that’s actually malicious software.

Do not agree to download software to view videos. These applications can infect your computer.

Read e-mails you receive carefully. Fraudulent messages often feature misspellings, poor grammar, and nonstandard English.

Report e-mails you receive that purport to be from the FBI. Criminals often use the FBI’s name and seal to add legitimacy to their fraudulent schemes. In fact, the FBI does not send unsolicited e-mails to the public. Should you receive unsolicited messages that feature the FBI’s name, seal, or that reference a division or unit within the FBI or an individual employee, report it to the Internet Crime Complaint Center

Highlights in this alert:

— E-Mails Containing Malware Sent to Businesses Concerning Their Online Job Postings

— Telephone Collection Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

— Fraudulent Notification Deceives Consumers Out of Thousands of Dollars

— Holiday Shopping Tips

Here are some tips you can use to avoid becoming a victim of cyber fraud:

Do not respond to unsolicited (spam) e-mail.

Do not click on links contained within an unsolicited e-mail.

Be cautious of e-mail claiming to contain pictures in attached files, as the files may contain viruses. Only open attachments from known senders. Scan the attachments for viruses if possible.

Avoid filling out forms contained in e-mail messages that ask for personal information.

Always compare the link in the e-mail with the link to which you are directed and determine if they match and will lead you to a legitimate site.

Log directly onto the official website for the business identified in the e-mail, instead of “linking” to it from an unsolicited e-mail. If the e-mail appears to be from your bank, credit card issuer, or other company you deal with frequently, your statements or official correspondence from the business will provide the proper contact information.

Contact the actual business that supposedly sent the e-mail to verify if the e-mail is genuine.

If you are asked to act quickly, or there is an emergency, it may be a scam. Fraudsters create a sense of urgency to get you to act quickly.

Verify any requests for personal information from any business or financial institution by contacting them using the main contact information.

Remember if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

What did the Navy SEALs who cornered Osama bin Laden get for pulling off such a risky mission? Their weekly paychecks.

The estimated salary for a Navy SEAL — with over a dozen years of experience and an E-7 pay grade — is about $54,000, according to an estimate based on data from the Department of Defense.

Most military members, not just Special Forces, are eligible to receive incentive pay, said Wade Ishimoto, defense specialist.

These examples, from the Department of Defense, include:

$240 for hazardous duty incentive pay

$225 for imminent danger pay/hostile fire pay

$150 to $225 for parachute, demolition and other tasks

$240 to $340 for diving pay for officers and enlisted military members, respectively

$521.40 to $961.80 for a basic allowance for housing (monthly, for dependents in some cases)

$223.84 to $325.04 for a basic allowance for subsistence (monthly)

Family subsistence supplemental: not to exceed $1,100

$327.60 to $759.60 for special clothing allowance (annual, for enlisted members, not officers)

“Five thousand Americans, tens of thousands permanently damaged and shot to pieces, a million Iraqis dead — that wasn’t bin Laden. That was George Bush. So when does Seal Unit 6, or whatever it’s called, drop in on George Bush?” — Malloy
