~I have to say up front this is the MOST dishonest group operating. The SPLC began all this PC nonsense. They base it on shoddy reporting & lies. They had a report on me for years (until recently) that I am a bigot, I was racist because I protested at the very upstart of illegal immigration/amnesty in Downtown Chicago. My daughter & I were only two out of a hanful of anti-immigration protestors. We stood smack in front of the Federal building. Along with White Supremacists. Talk about between a rock & a harder place!

Here we had, the rabid & I do mean rabid, pro-immigration people lead by Congress critter Luis “Gooti” Gutierrez. So my protestations could not even be heard. Then you had the other side of the coin, true bigots, screaming inanities back. So we went to the third of four corners JUST to watch.

It was very sad back then, particularly in Chicago, where being a conservative against a hispanic issue, was ‘alien’ all unto itself.

The SPLC alleges to be a nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry, and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of society. Unless of course you are on the ‘other’ side, as we have recently seen regarding the NBPP and more.

I was naive then, that when you are the ‘right’ side of an issue, then you were protected. And this was before PC was rampant & this administration. So when the SPLC attacked me, threatened me with an injuction, I was stumped. You can see my report from 2004 right here.

And now they are part of DHS!

As reported by Stewart Rhodes of Oath Keepers…

As the below document makes clear, Southern Poverty Law Center is Now Officially Part of DHS. The CEO of SPLC now sits on the DHS “Working Group on Countering Violent Extremism” along with the leaders of other So-called Non Government Organizations (but can we really call them such now that they are part of the government?) And select “law enforcement” officers such as the Clark County Nevada Sheriff, Doug Gillespie. What does the working group do? Make recommendations on training and how to use all of the local resources – police, social services, media, NGO’s, you name it – to fight “extremism. So, now no need to file a FOIA request to discover that SPLC is writing the reports naming constitutionalists as possible terrorists. Now it is in your face and the mask is off.

When you read the below document, keep in mind the current ordeal of the Irish family where their newborn baby was taken based on an affidavit that notes the father’s “association with a militia group known as Oath Keepers.”. Pay attention to who sits on this panel (see pages 26-30), to who DOESN’T, how they plan on reaching DHS tentacles down into every level of society, and how they talk overtly about the need to utilize local SOCIAL WELFARE and MENTAL HEALTH agencies to counter “violent extremism.”. In other words, what is now being done to the Irish family will be done all over.

This is the overt politicization of DHS, to use it against political enemies

Government Agents Seize Oath Keeper’s New Born From Hospital
Concord Hospital, NH, Wed. Oct. 7th, 2010

Last Night John Irish & Stephanie Janvrin had their new born baby girl taken away by government officials because of their involvement with Oath Keepers, a non violent constitutional organization. According to Irish, The Director of Security and the Head Nurse of the Hospital said “we want the pediatrician to check the baby in the nursery so that you can go home.” The baby was wheeled out in the bassinet under the protest of Irish. Irish followed them out and took note of 3-4 men wearing suits with detective badges as well as 3 police officers.

The Division of Family Child Services proceeded to pat down John and inform the parents they would be taking the daughter. “They Stole our Child” says John Irish. An Affidavit was produced that claimed an affiliation with a militia called Oath Keepers. Irish claims Oath Keepers is a non violent organization. John and Stephanie were able to spend a few minutes with their daughter and were forced to leave. A security officer escorted the two out of the hospital.

Char has been following this case closely. Her mother lives close to Concord. She has relayed to me the story finally hit the news but only because of growing protests that were forming at the hospital. The news mentioned that the woman already had two children previously taken away and that the father belonged to some group. She just caught the brief news short but I see that it is hitting the Concord Monitor, Channel 5 News and the Examiner now as well as other sources as the protests form. Thanks to Char, we have the following links:

First, do no harm. A day-old infant was abducted by NH DCYF on 10/7/2010, from and allegedly with the complicity of Concord Hospital, apparently at least partially because her father had affirmed, by association with Oath Keepers, an oath he’d taken to support and defend the U.S. Constitution. An oath government employees take every day. Do they respect their own promises as much?

This is the hastily organized protest the following day, 10/8/2010, outside the scene of the crime, Concord Hospital, Concord, NH.

Concord Hospital protest against baby kidnap

Concord Police Sgt. Steven Smagula hands Johnathon Irish a letter from Concord Hospital banning Irish from hospital property except for emergency services while Irish protested at the corner of Langley Parkway and Pleasant Street; Friday, October 8, 2010. Protesters joined Johnathan Irish and Stephanie Janvrin of Northwood outside of Concord Hospital after New Hampshire DCYF took the couple’s daughter into custody on Thursday, hours after she was born at Concord Hospital. Irish claims that the state acted because he is a member of the political group “The Oath Keepers.” Court records show an ongoing investigation into charges that Irish abused Taylor and her two-year-old child

Couple: State took our baby – Libertarians turn out for protest

CONCORD, N.H. — FBI bomb-sniffing dogs were at Concord Hospital on Friday after demonstrators gathered to protest a newborn being removed from her mother’s care by the state.

The hospital said there was no threat made, but it was taking precautions in part to reassure staff and patients.

The child was taken by the Department of Children Youth and Families. The hospital said privacy laws prevent it from discussing the matter.

In Conclusion:

To SPLC I say

You don’t have to look far in any search to see that SPLC is bad news.
~ JUST part of the “Machine” IMHO
