In late May of 2010, Wellesley, Massachusetts public middle school students took a field trip to the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center – a controversial Saudi-funded mega-mosque run by the Muslim American Society of Bostn. There, the students were separated by gender and the boys were asked to join the Muslim adults in their prayer. Several of the public school boys took part.

Bella Wong is JUST Wrong!

Then we are suppose to say “Oh, Okay, you apologize & it’s hunky dory?! I don’t think so! There you sit with a smirk on your face, when all I want to know Is what the hell were you thiking?! I doubt you don’t do that very well.

Bizarre image isn't it?

According to IPT News , the field trip took the kids to the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) mosque, a controversial center given its ownership by the Muslim American Society and questionable activities surrounding its construction. I don’t know anyone who has investigated MAS more than Steven Emerson.

A videotape (At top of this post) showing the prayer session, with five boys kneeling along with Muslim worshippers, was published late Wednesday by Charles Jacobs, president of Americans for Peace and Tolerance and a longtime ISB nemesis. Jacobs received the tape from a parent who chaperoned the field trip but who is remaining anonymous.

Parents were told the trip was designed to teach students about Islamic architecture and “to give the kids an authentic experience inside the mosque by observing Islamic religion first hand.” The chaperone who videotaped the prayer felt some of the program treaded too closely to proselytizing.

The tape doesn’t make clear what was said in inviting the kids to join in. “I don’t think it was meant to be a solicitous action,” Superintendent Bella Wong said Thursday afternoon. Roughly 200 children were on the field trip and only five joined in, she said. No complaints came in to her office after the field trip, not even from the chaperone who took the video.

Still, it shouldn’t have happened, Wong said in an interview. Her letter to parents, she said, is meant to show she understands it was an error and takes responsibility. Wong wrote:

“The purpose of the field trip was for students to visit and observe a place of worship. It was not the intent for students to be able to participate in any of the religious practices. The fact that any students were allowed to do so in this case was in error.

I extend my sincere apologies for the error that occurred and regret the offense it may have caused. In the future, teachers will provide more clear guidance to students to better define what is allowed to fulfill the purpose of observation.”

~ Do YOU buy it? That this ‘teacher’ didn’t realize what the affect of this field trip would be? What happened to going to DC on a field trip?

And wouldn’t you JUST know, that another person involved in an incident of a questionable mosque, is an extremist? Go figure! No wonder we all are all skeptical of any mosque in our country. When each one of them gets put under the microscope, tadaski nefarious dealings are going on.

Abdurrahman Alamoudi, once one of the nation’s most prominent Muslims political leaders, co-founded the ISB. Alamoudi pled guilty in 2004 to charges related to illegal dealings with Libya and a plot to assassinate a Saudi monarch.

And Yusuf al-Qaradawi, spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, was listed for years as an ISB trustee. The Brotherhood seeks the spread of Islamic law throughout the world. And while Qaradawi is considered a moderate by some, he has issued fatwas justifying attacks on American troops in Iraq and defended Palestinian suicide bombings.

THIS is where a teacher paid by the state of Massachusetts took her students?!

The Muslim American Society,(MAS) which runs the ISB, was created by Muslim Brotherhood members in the United States. It has a long history of defending alleged terrorists, their financiers, and of espousing radical rhetoric.

When the mosque’s construction attracted critical media scrutiny in 2005, the ISB sued Boston media outlets, Jacobs, Investigative Project on Terrorism Executive Director Steven Emerson and others claiming defamation. That suit was dropped, however, after a number of its allegations were disproved.

When prayer time came during the field trip, the girls were led off to a separate area. Video shows boys bowing and kneeling alongside worshipers. According to the parent, teacher and other chaperones sat idly as it happened.

Jacobs dismissed Wong’s letter to parents as “totally inadequate,” saying that even a cursory Internet search would have provided school officials with the mosque’s troubling background. And, he said, the presentation misrepresented the treatment of women and gave a sanitized definition of jihad, omitting any reference to violence.

“Bella Wong has to have an assembly and teach the children about that,” he said.

~As always, I would like to thank Steve & IPT for this very resource laden publication, and for the work you have done for so, so many years! ~JP

~Now ‘our’ civil rights are being violated. We are truly raped repeatedly though aren’t we?

The rights of all Americans are in jeopardy!

So says the American Civil Liberties Union which has come to the defense of a New Jersey state worker who was fired for putting a match to pages from the Koran outside a planned mosque near Ground Zero in midtown Manhattan.

Derek Fenton’s 11 year career came to a screeching stop when photographs of him burning pages from the Muslim holy book appeared in newspapers and on the internet.

Mr. Fenton, a resident of Bloomingdale, New Jersey, was fired even though he performed his act of protest in commemoration of 9/11 while off-duty and miles from his place of employment.

“Mr. Fenton’s public actions violated New Jersey Transit’s code of ethics,” an agency statement said.

“NJ Transit concluded that Mr. Fenton violated his trust as a state employee and therefore [he] was dismissed.”

But Mr. Fenton’s off-duty firing is being condemned an affront to the freedom of all Americans.

Attorney Chris Dunn of the New York Civil Liberties Union said that Mr. Fenton’s First Amendment rights have been violated, noting that the Supreme Court “has recognized a constitutional right to burn the flag. Burning the Koran would be protected as well.”

Others have come to Mr. Fenton’s defense.

“Good for him for burning the Koran,” his neighbor Jacqui Marquez, 40, said. “Everybody’s entitled to their opinion … by firing him, they’re sending a message that there’s no freedom of speech. They’re completely wrong for doing this.”

“He’s a family man,” another neighbor Randy McConnell, 43, said. “He loves his kids and he loves trains. I don’t agree with what he did, but he shouldn’t lose his job over it. That’s his right.”

Mr. Fenton’s act, which has caused riots in Iran, Indonesia, and Afghanistan, was not without justification.

The Center for Security Policy, a Washington think-tank, today urged the Obama Administration to abandon its position that Islam is not linked to terrorism.

Mr. Fenton, who has been described as a likable family guy with two children, served as an assistant train-consist coordinator for New Jersey Transit – - a job that entails ensuring there are enough train cars positioned to be put into service.

When taken into custody by New York police officials after striking the match, Mr. Fenton said that he was a “loyal American,” exercising his right to protest.

He was released without charges.

Strange to say, no member of the U.S. military was fired or taken to task over burning of hundreds of Bibles at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan in May 2009.

Defending the Bible burning, Lt. Col. Mark Wright said: “The decision was made that it was a ‘force protection’ measure to throw them away, because, if they did get out, it could be perceived by Afghans that the U.S. government or the U.S. military was trying to convert Muslims.”

~Oh, but it’s okay to shove the Koran, the mosque & Sharia attempts down our American throats!

More than a year after Congress approved $800 billion in stimulus funds, the Los Angeles city controller has released a 40-page report on how the city spent its share, and the results are not living up to expectations.

“I’m disappointed that we’ve only created or retained 55 jobs after receiving $111 million,” said Wendy Greuel, the city’s controller. “With our local unemployment rate over 12 percent we need to do a better job cutting red tape and putting Angelenos back to work.”

According to the audit, the Los Angeles Department of Public Works spent $70 million in stimulus funds — in return, it created seven private sector jobs and saved seven workers from layoffs. Taxpayer cost per job: $1.5 million.

The Los Angeles Department of Transportation created even fewer jobs per dollar, spending $40 million but netting just nine jobs. Taxpayer cost per job: $4.4 million.

Greuel blamed the dismal numbers on several factors:

1. Bureaucratic red tape: Four highway projects did not even go out to bid until seven months after they were authorized.

2. Projects that were supposed to be competitively bid in the private sector went instead went to city workers.

3. Stimulus money was not properly tracked within departments

4. Both departments could not report the jobs created and retained in a timely fashion..

8/12 7,000 protest demanding jobs outside City Hall in LA

“I would say maybe in a grade, a B- in creating the jobs,” Greuel told Fox News. “They have started to spend those dollars but it took seven months to get some of those contracts out. We think in the city that we should move quickly and not in the same usual bureaucratic ways.”

~JUST Piper has covered Norton – D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton said Beck’s rally “would change nothing. … We will move right over you.”

* 12:06pm — Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton disses Beck, talks about the past, D.C. statehood, and someone killed her mic.

~People in Congress are JUST not that bright when it comes to leaving a trail. A Prime example is Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson asking the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation to send scholarship checks directly to her two grandsons and two great-nephews, rather than to their colleges.

“The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers…” from his book on Citizenship. (Ataturk, Yurttaslik Bilgileri, Yenigun Haber Ajansi, June 1997, pp. 18.)

- Recep Tayyip Erdogan, now prime minister of Turkey, was briefly jailed in 1998 for publicly reciting a poem that contained these lines.

Erdogan is an Islamist, whose wife Emine wears a hijab on all occasions, and who has done all in his power to erode the secular state introduced in 1923. Erdogan is now – under the guise of democracy – moving Turkey away from secularism and further into the orbit of Iran and the Islamic world.

“It is claimed that religious unity is also a factor in the formation of nations. Whereas, we see the contrary in the Turkish nation.

Turks were a great nation even before they adopted Islam. This religion did not help the Arabs, Iranians, Egyptians and others to unite with Turks to form a nation. Conversely, it weakened the Turks’ national relations; it numbed Turkish national feelings and enthusiasm. This was natural, because Mohammedanism was based on Arab nationalism above all nationalities.”

- Ataturk (born Kemal Mostafa) (1881 – 1938), who founded modern Turkey, throwing off the veil and hijab, Arabic script and other Ottoman affectations, introduced a constitution based firmly upon secularism.

How many DWI convictions does it take for an illegal alien to be jailed on an “immigration detainer” by ICE? One? Two? Three? Nope. Try FOUR + a homicide. Robert Benn of Tennessee was struck and killed soon after he landed in Austin for a business trip by Jaime Bonilla, an illegal with 3 prior DWI convictions, yet roaming free in the sanctuary city of Austin. The people of TX and TN must DEMAND answers from ICE, DHS and the City of Austin as to why this illegal alien slimeball felon was free to drink and drive again…and KILL. After sister Denise Mosier in VA, how many more Americans have to die before ICE takes these monsters off the streets?
