In a previous commentary (Calling Tea Party people racist is a S.I.N. ) I revealed three of the most often-used tactics of liberals. They shift the subject, ignore the facts, and resort to name calling.

Recently, a caller to my nightly radio show invoked a new tactic, which most people know exists, but it is not often used so openly and brazenly. It’s attempted intimidation.

After explaining to listeners how the policies of President Obama and the Democrats in Congress had failed to stimulate the economy, with stalled growth and systemic high unemployment, caller G suggested that since I had lost my bid for United States Senate in 2004, and since John McCain had lost to President Obama in 2008, that I should just “sit down and shut up”.

I assured her that there was no way in my lifetime that that was going to happen.

Although it probably did not register with her, I also told her that when we reach a point where we cannot disagree with or criticize our elected so-called leaders, then our constitutional republic will have become a nation of tyranny. That’s also not going to happen.

Liberals are so desperate to deflect attention away from the failed policies of this administration and this Congress that people such as caller G are now openly using attempted intimidation, since name-calling is not working like it used to.

The name-calling campaign started with Speaker Pelosi calling Tea Party people ‘Astroturf’ in early 2009. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called us ‘un-American’, and so-called actress Janeane Garofalo called us “tea baggin racists”. The latest attempt by the racially focused NAACP to label Tea Party people as racists backfired. And now the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has launched a campaign to try and label Tea Party people as Republicans, while other Democrats in Congress just call us crazy.

We are crazy! We are crazy about the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the free market system, and the United States of America.

So the latest tactic by caller G was an attempt to intimidate me and other voices who dare criticize President Obama, ineffective policies and bad legislation.

Ironically, the next caller (caller A) directed her comments to caller G and the other listeners, and stated that “Mr. Cain cannot shut up because that’s how I know what’s really happening. I am tired of this administration pouring warm water on my leg and telling me it’s raining.” (You can substitute any phrase in your imagination for thepouring warm water phrase. POML comes to mind for me.)

After I got my uncontrollable laughter back under control, I thanked caller A for her encouragement, and hoped that caller G was still listening.

President Obama has called this time leading up to the November elections “silly season” in politics. No, the desperate liberals are making it stupid season, because people are tired of the SIIN tactics.

If intimidation is the latest tactic in the liberal’s playbook, then that’s good for conservatives if they get up, get out and vote in the upcoming mid-term elections.

Conservatives who favor less government and lower taxes are winning the public discourse with facts, logic and common sense. Because liberals can’t handle the facts, logic is non-existent, and they have an allergic reaction to common sense.

SIIN is the liberal’s new four letter word, but the conservatives and Tea Party people have a new ‘N’ word.

November is coming!

My reaction to the idea of the NAACP declaring the citizen movement known as the Tea Party as racist is ridiculous. I am Black. I have spoken at over twenty rallies and conferences. I have talked directly with hundreds of tea party activists, and have received hundreds of calls from activists to my nightly radio show.

In the surveillance footage taken hours before his arrest, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer Michael Gilliland can be seen nonchalantly waving a car through his lane at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry in San Diego. He was knowingly allowing illegal aliens across the border, and he would do this several more times throughout the evening. His actions that night would earn him nearly the equivalent of his annual salary—and eventually a five-year prison term.

Gilliland, a former U.S. Marine and veteran Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer with 16 years of experience, has been in jail since 2007. But his case continues to illustrate the pervasive problem of corruption along the Southwest border and the damage that can occur when officials betray the public’s trust.

Although the vast majority of U.S. government employees working on the border are not corrupt, as one senior agent who investigates such crimes noted, “Even one bad apple is too many.”

Of our 700 agents assigned to public corruption investigations nationwide, approximately 120 of them are located in the Southwest region. We work closely with many federal agencies, including CBP and the Drug Enforcement Administration. The result has been more than 400 public corruption cases originating from the Southwest region—and in the past fiscal year more than 100 arrests and about 130 state and federal cases prosecuted.

We have 12 border corruption task forces in the Southwest, which consist of many state and local law enforcement agencies as well as our federal partners. Recently, we established a National Border Corruption Task Force at FBI Headquarters to coordinate the activities of all regional operations.

At our Border Corruption Task Force office in San Diego, Special Agent Terry Reed—who headed the Michael Gilliland investigation—points out the “Wall of Shame.” Displayed are pictures of a dozen former officials convicted of public corruption offenses in the San Diego area. They are a diverse group of men and women from a variety of state and federal government agencies. They were all in it for the money, sex, or both—a fact not lost on the drug cartels.

“The cartels have developed into very sophisticated businesses,” said El Paso Special Agent Tim Gutierrez. “Despite their brutality and violence, they use sophisticated tactics.”

The cartels actively engage in corrupting public officials. They recruit by exploiting weaknesses, sometimes gaining intelligence through surveillance methods usually employed by law enforcement. Cartel members have been known to observe inspectors at ports of entry using binoculars from the Mexican side of the border. Maybe an inspector has a drinking or gambling problem. Maybe he flirts with women and could be tempted to cheat on his wife. Maybe an employee is simply burned out on the job.

“If you’re an inspector and you are legitimately waving through 97 out of 100 cars anyway,” Gutierrez said, “and you realize you can make as much as your annual salary by letting the 98th car go by, it can be easy to rationalize that.”

“The cartels are always looking for the next Michael Gilliland,” Agent Reed said. “But using our combined investigative and intelligence gathering skills, the task force has been very successful in rooting out corrupt public officials at the border.”

While Barry Soetoro’s family lavish themselves at a luxury Spanish resort amidst deepening economic turmoil, back home Obama’s political dynasty crashes and burns as his approval ratings plunge to a record low of 41 per cent with less than a few months to go before the October midterm elections.

Obama has come under widespread criticism for preaching austerity and financial discipline even as his wife Michelle suns herself at an opulent resort in the Costa del Sol region while parading around in expensive designer clothing.

As the economy worsens and top financial experts openly talk of American entering a second great depression, Obama’s approval ratings continue to head south in a hurry.

As we exposed in the Obama Deception, the manufactured populist euphoria behind the crowning of Soetoro was always likely to rapidly deflate once it became apparent that Obama was the ultimate puppet, a vacuous servant of the bankers and the elite to whom he owes his entire political dynasty.

As Bruce Drake points out today, “The party that controls the White House usually loses House seats in the off-year contests and the losses are bigger when the President’s job approval rating is below 50 percent.” Phil Berg: The Latest on Lawsuit Showing “Barry Soetoro” is Obama’s Legal Name – Alex Jones Tv 1/2

Yesterday New York Daily News columnist and blogger Andrea Tantaros likened the President’s wife to French queen Marie Antoinette, who was famously extravagant with her spending.

Michelle Obama today faced a fresh wave of attacks over her lavish break in Spain with 40 friends, which could easily cost U.S. taxpayers a staggering £50,000 a day.

The First Lady has been lambasted for her extravagance at a time when the economy is still struggling. One blogger went so far as to brand her a modern-day Marie Antoinette.

And her critics will be further annoyed when they learn that the president’s wife had a Spanish beach closed off today so that she, her daughter and their entourage could go for a swim.

It is unclear whether the police presence was paid for by Spain – or whether a nasty invoice could be landing in the lap of the American taxpayer.

The exact cost of the trip is unclear as Mrs Obama, 46, and her friends are footing personal expenses themselves – which is just as well.

For a start, they will be paying for the 60 rooms booked at the 129-room Hotel Villa Padierna. With basic rooms starting around £380 each, the nightly bill will be no less than £22,800.

Meals will also be picked up by the Obamas and friends. (Whoopdie Du Du)

Whether or not the taxpaying American will be paying for meals, they will definitely be footing the bill for the First Lady’s 68-strong security detail, her personal staff – and the use of presidential jet Air Force Two.

The per diems for the secret service team runs at around £172 each, which amounts to nearly £60,000 for the length of the summer break.

Use of Air Force Two, the Air Force version of a 757, comes in at £91,900 for the round trip. This does not include time on the ground.

Mrs Obama’s personal staff, of which there are an unknown amount and who might cost considerably more per day, also have to be taken into account.

The American public will also cover the cost of the only official part of the holiday, a visit to the Spanish royal family on the island of Majorca.

This will involve transport there and back for the entourage – as well as travel, accommodation, food and expenses for all while on the island.

Conservative estimates already put the total cost at £150,000. With Majorca to come, the bill will be more like £250,000.

NOTE: one pound is 2 and 1/2 dollars~You do the math, for we know there math is wery, wery fuzzy.

Back in the U.S., anger was mounting – especially as it has emerged the First Lady will have enjoyed eight holidays by the end of the summer.

These include a trip to Los Angeles in June, a visit to the Florida’s oil-hit Gulf Coast next weekend and a ten-day trip to Martha’s Vineyard later this month.

White House press secretary Robin Gibbs was asked at a briefing if there were any concerns about how the visit was being viewed by the public.

‘The First Lady is on a private trip,’ he said. ‘She is a private citizen and is the mother of a daughter on a private trip. I think I’d leave it at that.’

Yesterday New York Daily News columnist and blogger Andrea Tantaros likened the President’s wife to French queen Marie Antoinette, who was famously extravagant with her spending.

Tantaros wrote: ‘To be clear, what the Obamas do with their money is one thing; what they do with ours is another. Transporting and housing the estimated 70 Secret Service agents who will flank the material girl will cost the taxpayers a pretty penny.’

She accused the Obamas of hypocrisy for preaching the values of sacrifice and austerity to Americans while seemingly refusing to heed their own advice.

She said: ‘Instead, Michelle Obama seems more like a modern-day Marie Antoinette… than an average mother of two.’

‘It’s the extravagance of Michelle Obama’s trip and glitzy destination contrasted with President Obama’s demonisation of the rich that smacks of hypocrisy and perpetuates a disconnect between the country and its leaders’

~Wouldn’t we all, through all of our suffering caused by this administration, JUST dream of a vacation like this. Oh, but I forget, we are “Peons” SHE is royality , as my friend Paul Westcott has stated at White House Brief.

A young London fashion designer has been commissioned by US First Lady Michelle Obama. White House calling: Please will you make a coat for Michelle Obama

While Obama preaches sacrifice, his family frolics in Spain -AS THE US economy endures high unemployment and a jittery stock market, President Barack Obama has preached sacrifice and fiscal discipline. But the pictures coming out of a sun-splashed Spanish resort may be sending a different message. This video shows the total disregard for us & our economy.
