…Following Latest Bias Attack-Sixth attack against immigrants since April

Police are investigating another assault on a Hispanic man in Staten Island as a possible hate crime — and the Mexican government is now getting involved as well.

Five men attacked the 40-year-old Mexican man Friday night as he was walking home after a soccer game at Faber Park, cop said. The attackers allegedly pummeled him while yelling anti-Mexican epithets. The man suffered head trauma, a fractured jaw and needed ten stitches above his eye, officials said.

The group of men made off with his backpack.

This is at least the sixth violent, ethnically-charged incident that has taken place in the neighborhood since April, and community leaders are urging residents to remain alert.

* The Guardian Angels, lead by Curtis Sliwa, have also pledged to patrol the area. Make the Road New York, a local community group that serves the communities of Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island is organizing a march that will take place on Wednesday.

~ People THIS is not the way to deal with things…this hate crap HAS to end! There is a difference in not condoning illegal immigration & harming another human being, which makes you no better than all those who come here illegally, committing their crimes against us. Yes, they are breaking the statute of immigration. NO, they do not deserve THIS for that.! Back off Jack! ~JP

Anyone with information about the case is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.

GIMME MY Senior Discount you wascally wabbit

…demanding discount

Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank caused a scene when he demanded a $1 senior discount on his ferry fare to Fire Island’s popular gay haunt, The Pines, last Friday. Frank was turned down by ticket clerks at the dock in Sayville because he didn’t have the required Suffolk County Senior Citizens ID. A witness reports, “Frank made such a drama over the senior rate that I contemplated offering him the dollar to cool down the situation.” Frank made news last year when he was spotted looking uncomfortable around a bevy of topless, well-built men at the Pines Annual Ascension Beach Party. Frank’s spokesperson confirmed to Page Six that his partner, James Ready, asked the ticket office for a regular ticket for himself and a senior ticket for Frank, “but was turned down because Frank didn’t have a resident ID.”

Number three on our list almost violates the criteria that I set up in the first piece I wrote for this series. I said then that denizens of the Old Media that are too much a “cartoon of journalism” would not be included on my list. Yet despite my dismissal of such Old Media clowns, in the number three slot on the list you’ll find Paul Krugman of The New York Times.

Given today’s revelations about the JournoList, we now know Krugman either participated in a media conspiracy to get Obama elected or at least witnessed it first hand and did nothing to stop it. Consider this fact merely the latest insight into a man who’s done more consistently left-biased journalism than nearly anyone in America.

Krugman is indeed quite a cartoon of modern liberalism. He is hidebound and far from a new or even a very free thinker. But he makes the list simply because he is not only a Nobel Prize winner but is one of the leading media figures in America today. So, despite that he is not an original thinker and is steeped in liberal orthodoxy, his prominence argues for his inclusion here.

And besides that he is a true liberal loon.

Krugman’s January 17 piece is a perfect example of the nonsense that he tries to pass off as political analysis. In his piece headlined “What Didn’t Happen,” Krugman seriously tried to claim that one of Barack Obama’s biggest failings was that he doesn’t blame Bush enough for his own failings.

Mr. Obama didn’t… shelter himself from criticism with a narrative that placed the blame on previous administrations.

Unfortunately for Krugman, the facts are clear and the facts show that blaming Bush has been a mainstay of nearly every policy speech and press conference Obama has made since he took office if not before.

In March of ‘09, for instance, Washington Post reporter Scott Wilson wrote a piece that noted that, “Obama has reminded the public at every turn that he is facing problems ‘inherited’ from the Bush administration…” In that piece Wilson notes how time and again Obama blamed everything he faced on Bush.

Anti-Illegal Immigration Group Calls for ‘Safe Passage’ of Illegals Out of U.S.

~Oh Alipac…

An anti-illegal immigration group is calling on the Obama administration to ensure a smooth exit for illegal immigrants who are trying to leave the U.S. due to the weak economy and Arizona’s strict new immigration law.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) is urging U.S. citizens to pressure the White House and the Homeland Security Department to establish “safe departure” border checkpoints along the U.S. border for illegal immigrants so they can leave without fear of being detained or prosecuted for immigration crimes.

“The peaceful and gradual exodus of illegals from Arizona shows there is no need for comprehensive immigration reform amnesty,” William Gheen, president of the group, said in a written statement. “Comprehensive immigration enforcement works and has the desired effect without mass deportations.”

Gheen said the safe passage would ensure that illegals “leave in an orderly fashion, instead of trying risky desert crossings, paying money to the cartels for passage south, or fleeing to other states.”

“This is about the only situation we would ever advocate that our immigration laws be waived,” Gheen said. “We want to encourage the illegals to leave America on their own and thus we ask Obama to provide them safe passage out of America.”

Neither the White House nor Homeland Security responded to e-mails seeking comment.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio says he’s “not going to put up with any civil disobedience” when the state’s new immigration law takes effect.

Arpaio says that if protesters want to block his jail, he’ll put them in it.

The Arizona law, which takes effect Thursday, requires officers enforcing other laws to check a person’s immigration status if they suspect the person is in the country illegally.

Arpaio told ABC’s “Good Morning America” he doesn’t know “what the big hype is.”

He says it’s “a crime to be here illegally and everyone should enforce” the law.

Republican controlled House of Representatives uncovering Obama’s corrupt dealings and exposing this man as unworthy of the office of President

Last week Rep. Michelle Bachmann was asked what Republicans had in mind should they retake the House of Representatives this November, she replied “I think that all we should do is issue subpoenas and have one hearing after another and expose all the nonsense that is going on.”

Considering the sheer volume of illegal and impeachable offences committed by Obama and his cohorts over the past couple of years, the House will be very busy indeed. By Fred Dardick of CFP

Putting aside Obama’s inept leadership, weakening of our national defenses and transparent attempt to socialize our great nation, there are a number of more practical crimes that once investigated could lead to Obama’s impeachment and perhaps even his well deserved imprisonment.

Without further adieu-du, let’s get to the 25 Obama Crimes the House Should Investigate in 2011

* 1. Tony Rezko–

purchase of land adjacent to Obama’s house in Hyde Park, IL. In 2006, Rezko sold a 10 foot strip of his property to Obama for $104,500, rendering the remainder of Rezko’s $625,000 investment too small to be developed and, for all intents and purposes, worthless.

* 2. Obama campaign donor lists to ACORN in 2007 and 2008–

more complete than the ones he provided to the FEC. ACORN used the lists to raise money for Obama’s election from donors who had already maxed out their legally allowable contributions.

~ as evidenced by Anita Moncrief

* 3. Widespread voter fraud including voter intimidation, ballot stuffing, falsified documents, and threats of violence against Hillary Clinton supporters committed by the Obama campaign and ACORN during the 2008 Democrat primary election

* 4. Obama’s refusal to release his long form birth certificate which would show conclusively that he is a dual citizen and therefore not constitutionally eligible to serve as President. Obama’s college records, which have also not been released, would also contain information regarding his dual citizenship status.

* 5. Association with Union thugs , using it against GM and Chrysler bond holders during bankruptcy proceedings, forcing investors to accept millions of dollars in losses in direct violation of bankruptcy laws, money to which they were legally entitled.

* 6. Preferential treatment given to minority and women owned car dealerships by Obama administration officials as part of the auto industry bailout program and the forced closing of a disproportionate number of rural dealerships located in areas that did not vote for Obama.

* 7 Unsubstantiated firing of Corporation for National and Community Service Inspector General Gerald Walpin for exposing Sacramento Mayor and Obama supporter Kevin Johnson’s misuse of an $850,000 AmeriCorps grant.

* 8. “Cornhusker Kickback”, “Louisiana Purchase” and having the Department of Interior increase water allocations to the Central Valley of California to secure the votes of Democrat Reps. Dennis Cardoza and Jim Costa.

* 9. LYING yet again to us about promising they could keep our healthcare coverage if they wanted to, when in reality tens of millions will be forced out of their current plans.

* 10 Attempted bribery of Rep. Joe Sestak with job offers to get him to drop out of the Senate primary race

* 11. Directing the EPA to unilaterally set carbon emission standards, thus bypassing Congress which opposes Obama’s energy reform bill.

* 12. His people’s statement that a panel of experts had agreed with their plan for a 6 month Gulf Coast drilling moratorium, when in actuality none of them had supported the measure.

* 13. Bullying BP to set up a $20 billion slush fund to compensate Gulf Coast businesses and residents affected by the oil spill, to be administered by an Obama political appointee without any judicial or congressional oversight. (~ Although they SHOULD compensate but not because of Obama’s i;;egal Chigcao thuggery style)

* 14. Implementing a third oil-drilling moratorium after the first two were thrown out of court, creating a de facto Gulf Coast offshore drilling ban in opposition to two judge’s rulings.

* 15. Establishment of a commission to investigate the Gulf Coast oil spill that contains not one oil industry expert and whose transparent purpose is to push a partisan political agenda rather than investigate the cause of the disaster.

* 16. For his opposition to Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution which calls for the President to protect states from foreign invasion. Obama’s policy of intentionally not securing our nation’s borders. attempt to blackmail Republican support for comprehensive immigration reform, that he is heartily in the process of doing friends. Obama is holding border states and residents politically hostage during a time they are being overrun by a narco-paramilitary invasion.

* 17. The DOJ case exposed by former Justice attorney J. Christian Adams. This includes the dropping of voter intimidation charges against 2 Black Panthers brandishing weapons in front of a voting location in Philadelphia and the stated intention by political appointees to ignore voter crimes committed by African Americans, Latinos and other minorities.

* 18. The DOJ purposefully allowing some states to continue their disenfranchisement of military personnel serving overseas in direct opposition to the 2009 Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment (MOVE) Act, which was established in response to the more than 17,000 military votes that were not counted in the 2008 election because ballots had arrived after the deadline. You can’t get lower then this!

* 19.The appointment of Donald Berwick as head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services without even a token attempt to put him through the Congressional nomination process, signaling that Congress’s constitutional obligation to vet presidential appointees means nothing to Obama. The same can be said of the 30+ Obama administration czars. And now Britain is RENEGING the very laws this horses arse wants to implement here, “The let Granny die Bill”.

* 20. Spending $23 million of taxpayer money through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to support a constitutional referendum in Kenya in spite of the Siljander Amendment, which makes it illegal for the U.S. to lobby for abortion in other countries.

The Kenyan referendum was partially written by Planned Parenthood and is designed to legalize abortion in that nation.

* 21. The the Obama administration in the firing of Sherry Sherrod from the USDA without due process because of publicized out of context remarks she made at a NAACP meeting in March 2010.

* 22. The WH sham investigation of BP’s involvement in the release of the mass murdering Lockerbie bomber from prison. The Obama administration not only knew beforehand of the Scottish government’s plan to set Abdel Baset al-Megrahi free on “compassionate” grounds, they even sent a letter to Scottish authorities stating their preference for his remaining in Scotland over his transfer to a Libyan prison.

* 23. The canceling of 77 properly filed oil field development contracts approved by the Bush administration by Obama flunkie Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, preventing the extraction of up to 3 trillion gallons of oil buried under Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and North Dakota, more than enough to end our dependence on foreign oil and supply the U.S. with its energy needs for hundreds of years at current consumption rates. JUST like the fact of the spill three months ago & the forceful moratorium, all indicators Obama does NOT want us to be an independent nation, not in ANY aspect!

* 24. Investigations by DHS to determine the political affiliation of people making Freedom of Information Act requests and the subsequent delay and even altogether ignoring of requests made by Republican affiliated individuals.

–and last but there are new reasons everyday, he should be impeached:

* 25. It is the HARDEST hardest to prosecute in court, but worst crime of all that Obama has perpetrated against the American people is the economic tyranny that his socialist policies have wrecked upon our nation.

While Obama has been living the life of a king, including frequent 5 star vacations, dozens of concerts at the White House and endless rounds of golf, all paid for by taxpayer money—the increased transportation and security costs alone are in the millions of dollars—he has called for the rest of us to endure economic sacrifice.

~ Don’t forget this come November, stay angry, stay focused!

This jackhole has given us an ANNUAL trillion dollar deficits and borrowing of 41 cents of every dollar of government spending by Obama is leading to unsustainable and potentially catastrophic debt.

These These 25 crimes Fred Dardick, are just what he has dug up over the past couple of weeks. No doubt there are many more that he’s have missed or still as yet undiscovered. While any one may be sufficient to impeach Obama, taken as a whole it demonstrates that Obama has little to no regard for the rule of law.

I look forward to a Republican controlled House of Representatives uncovering Obama’s corrupt dealings and exposing this man as unworthy of the office of President.

Texas Biodefense Lab to Begin Research
Wednesday, July 28, 2010

The University of Texas Medical Branch’s Galveston National Laboratory is expected in coming weeks to begin studies of lethal diseases such as anthrax and plague, the Galveston Daily News reported Sunday (see GSN, Oct. 29, 2008).

The $174 million, 186,267-square-foot biological defense facility recently stopped allowing visitor tours as scientists prepared to begin work on disease agents at the site. The facility, expected to eventually house 300 scientists and support personnel, was constructed over five years by 2,400 workers and engineers.

The facility — one of two such sites authorized by the National Institutes of Health since Sept. 11, 2001 — includes a 14,000-square-foot Biosafety Level 4 area that is expected to house research involving deadly, highly communicable pathogens for which no countermeasures are available.

There is also 29,000 square feet in Biosafety Level 3 research room for work with other dangerous diseases that could be spread through natural outbreaks or acts of bioterrorism.

“We’re really excited,” said Joan Nichols, the laboratory’s associate director for research and operations. “We’ve been working hard … to get the facility put together and we’re really looking forward to the day we have people working in the building and doing what we’re supposed to do.”

It was still unclear what studies would be carried out at the site; foundations, federal agencies and private backers such as drug companies are all expected to have a say in the matter (Laura Elder, Daily News, July 25).

Submerged Mustard Bombs no Current Danger, Study Finds
Wednesday, July 28, 2010

Thousands of mustard agent munitions deposited in the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii after World War II are not a present danger to humans but should be kept under watch, a researcher said yesterday following a three-year study of the bombs (see GSN, July 13, 2009).

Documents indicate the U.S. Army placed up to 16,000 weapons underwater roughly five miles south of Pearl Harbor on the island of Oahu, according to the Associated Press. Every bomb carried 73 pounds of the blister agent.

Over three years, researchers from the University of Hawaii used submersibles to visit the dump site on 16 occasions. They collected water and sediment samples and checked on shrimp and snapper fish found near the area. Only one sediment sample tested positive for a small amount of mustard agent.

Continued monitoring of the weapons is needed, said lead scientist Margo Edwards.

“They’re clearly deteriorating. Most of the ones that I saw were intact. They had not broken, breached. But they are rusting away,” she said.

There is seemingly a different pace of rusting among the munitions, according to Edwards (Audrey McAvoy, Associated Press, July 28).

Four days of large-scale South Korean-U.S. naval drills concluded today without North Korea following through on its threat of an armed response, Agence France-Presse reported (see GSN, July 27).

“The U.S. wanted to make sure to continue to maintain and strengthen its leadership in this corner of the world,” said South Korean academic Paik Hak-soon, thus “sacrificing its former goal of denuclearizing North Korea.”

The North might conduct its third nuclear test blast or fire off additional missiles, watchers say.

“North Korea has many options,” Paik said. “No one can prevent North Korea. Nothing has been accomplished in terms of denuclearizing North Korea. What is left is more pronounced confrontation” (Donald Kirk, Christian Science Monitor, July 28).

Separately, defense experts discussed with National Public Radio this week the U.S. military’s plans for dealing with a potential outbreak of hostilities from North Korea.

Allied forces on the peninsula would have a short amount of time to respond to the threat, said Bush administration Asia specialist Michael Green, now with the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

“There would be enormous pressure. In fact, I think the war plans would argue for immediately suppressing the North Korean artillery capability, if they fired at all,” Green said.

One fear is that North Korea would include biological and chemical weapons in its artillery launch. The Stalinist state has thousands of guns in place at secure positions along the demilitarized zone. Hundreds are in range of Seoul.

GlobalSecurity.org Director John Pike said the United States and South Korea have prepared for that possibility.

“They have counterbattery radars that would detect these guns firing, and counterbattery fire would probably destroy those guns before the first shells that they had fired had hit Seoul,” he said.

U.K. to Permit Nuclear Exports to India
Wednesday, July 28, 2010

The United Kingdom is expected to formally announce today that it would allow the export of nuclear technology to India, ending a long-standing ban on atomic trade with the nuclear-armed South Asian nation, the London Telegraph reported (see GSN, Feb. 5).

The new bilateral civilian trade deal is to operate on a “presumption” that British nuclear products licensed for export would be put to use in India’s nuclear energy industry. Transactions that create concerns are to be examined under a regime of “assessed risk.”

British Prime Minister David Cameron is scheduled today in India to unveil the trade deal, which also contains a promise to collaborate on nuclear research.

The previous Labor Party administration in London had avoided nuclear trade with India because it had not joined the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. There were also worries that the Indian government had not adequately guaranteed there would be no cross-over of material from New Delhi’s civilian atomic sector to its military program.

In the meantime, the United States and other atomic exporters signed deals authorizing trade of nuclear materials and technology to India.

Last month, British Business Secretary Vince Cable advised government ministers that the trade ban be ended in light of Washington’s 2008 landmark nuclear trade deal with India and concerns that the United Kingdom’s companies were being kept out of a lucrative emerging market. Cameron and select members of his Cabinet agreed to move ahead with the plan despite concerns from some high-level diplomatic and military personnel (Rosa Prince, London Telegraph, July 28).

The British Defense Ministry and Foreign Office worry about the potential connection between India’s civilian and military nuclear operations and about angering Pakistan, which is sensitive to any foreign deals it perceives would tilt the nuclear balance in favor of its neighboring rival, the London Guardian reported.

“There are obvious security sensitivities. We are conscious of those, as are the Indians,” Cable said today. “But within those constraints we really want to push ahead with civil nuclear cooperation. That would be quite a big sector within which we could really make progress” (Nicholas Watt, London Guardian, July 28).
