Obama golfs for four hours in sweltering heat
By Bridget Johnson – 06/13/10 06:12 PM ET
President Barack Obama spent four hours on the golf course Sunday in temperatures that peaked in the low 90s.
The White House pool reported that they left Andrews Air Force Base as it started to rain after 4 p.m.
Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood was among the group golfing with Obama.
The president leaves Monday for his fourth trip to the Gulf Coast since the BP oil spill began nearly two months ago. On the trip, the President will visit Gulfport, Miss., Theodore, Ala., and Pensacola, Fla., to survey the response efforts, visit with Gulf residents impacted by the spill and meet with area officials.
Beaches turn black in Baldwin County as oily waves roll in by David Ferrara AL.com

GULF SHORES, Ala. — Fifteen-year-old Dakota Byrd kicked sand over a puddle of black oil lining Gulf Shores beach.
As far as he could see Saturday afternoon, the white sand at the shoreline had turned black.
“I want to get rid of it,” he said. Byrd looked into joining the cleanup effort, but he’s too young.
Summer for him and his Gulf Shores buddies, he said, along with many others who enjoy the Alabama coastline, “is done.”
Dark waves slapped the shore, as rust-colored sheets floated in the nearby water.
“It’s depressing for sure,” said Byrd’s friend Kevin Close, 14.
* Deep water rigs in tight supply around the world
RIO DE JANEIRO, June 11 (Reuters) – Brazil could benefit from the BP Gulf of Mexico spill as a U.S. moratorium on offshore drilling boosts available rigs for the country’s deep water oil exploration program.
Even as an ecological catastrophe makes the future of U.S. offshore drilling less certain, Brazil is plowing ahead with a
$220 billion five-year plan to tap oil fields even deeper than
BP’s (BP.L) ill-fated Gulf well, which is still leaking crude.
With an estimated 35 rigs idled in the Gulf of Mexico,
Brazil is already receiving inquiries from companies looking to
move their rigs here, where vast discoveries in recent years
may soon turn the country into a major crude exporter.
“What is bad for some may be good for others,” said
Fernando Martins, Latin America Vice President for GE Oil and
Gas, which provides services to drillers in Brazil.
“Since operators are shutting down at least temporarily in
the U.S. Gulf, some companies are planning to move their rigs
to Brazil now,” he said, without offering details.
What an amazing stroke of good fortune for Obama’s boss, unrepentant Nazi collaborator, George Soros!
Soros is also invested in offshore oil drilling in Brazil, assisted by the American taxpayers. Newsmax:
The Wall Street Journal reports: ‘The United States, through the U.S. Export-Import Bank, has issued a ‘preliminary commitment’ of $2 billion and more if needed’ to Petroleo Brasileiro SA, a Brazilian government-owned oil exploration and development corporation known as ‘Petrobras.’
Soros Fund Management, LLC holds a stake in Petrobras of approximately $900 million as of December 31, 2009.
George Soros’ principal investments are in oil; one in particular is Petrobras, the Brazilian-owned company. This happens to be the largest investment in the Soros portfolio at the present time.
Now that word is out that the facilities of the U.S. Export-Import Bank SA is offering guarantees for loans to Brazil’s state-owned oil company Petrobras, U.S. citizens are beginning to complain.
Soros also owns quite a lot of real estate in Brazil. Soros’ Adecoagro, which invests in renewable energy, owns or leases about 840,000 acres of farmland in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay growing coffee, soybeans and other commodities. Royal Dutch Shell Plc and Bunge Ltd. Are also expanding into ethanol in Brazil.
When you get to boss the president around, you never have to let a good crisis go to waste.
Oil And Gas Leaks From Cracks In Seabed Confirmed – Videos Show Gulf Oil Spill Leaking From Seafloor
Posted by Alexander Higgins – June 13 http://tinyurl.com/37tznb9
There have been several reports of oil and gas leaking on the cracks in the Gulf of Mexico seafloor which may cause problems with BP capping the gushing oil well.
Although BP denies that there is oil or gas leaking from the cracks in the sea floor many people watching the BP Oil leak cam have witnessed explosions and leaks from the seafloor.
I discussed this issue in detail when I was recently interviewed by Fintan Dunne.
Well those reports from Senator Nelson and Matt Simmons among other experts are now confirmed and if you didn’t already now it could be really bad news.
As Keith Olbermann put it on his MSNBC show “Countdown” when reporting about the possibility of the sea floor leaking “What’s Worse Than Doomsay? … This is It”.
In any case, BP denying these reports is absolute proof that BP is not being truthful about what is really going on the sea floor.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski, chairman of Poland's Law and Justice Party (PiS) and presidential candidate, speaks during a news conference at the PiS headquarters in Warsaw June 1, 2010 Reuters/Peter Andrews
Poland’s Jaroslaw Kaczynski, vying to succeed his twin brother as president after his death in a plane crash, has seen his support rise sharply and now trails his main rival by just two percentage points, a poll showed on Saturday.
Kaczynski, who heads a right-wing opposition party, has trailed Bronislaw Komorowski, an ally of centrist Prime Minister Donald Tusk, in all polls since the April 10 crash in Russia that killed his brother Lech and 95 others.
But a week before the June 20 election, a survey from TNS OBOP commissioned by the public television news channel showed Kaczynski had nearly erased the gap with Komorowski.
The poll put Kaczynski’s support at 36 percent, up eight points from the last TNS OBOP survey on May 20, and had Komorowski on 38 percent, down 15 points.
Two other polls, by Homo Homini and GfK Polonia, that were published on Saturday gave Komorowski bigger leads of 8.6 and 13 points, respectively.
The outcome of the election matters because Poland’s president can veto legislation and has a say in foreign and security policy. Like his brother, Kaczynski could be expected to block government laws if elected head of state.
Some political observers have criticized Komorowski for conducting a lackluster campaign and for a series of minor gaffes that have been pounced on by his opponents.
Polls also suggest a low turnout, which analysts say could favor Kaczynski because his core electorate is likely to be more energized following the death of his brother.
“This is a very serious fight over what Poland will look like over the next few years and also because the chances of both candidates are close to even,” Tusk said in Tczew, northern Poland, on Saturday.
Most of the shortened presidential campaign has been overshadowed by mourning for those who died in the plane crash and in recent floods that have claimed some 20 lives and caused damaged estimated to exceed 2 billion euros.
In recent days, Komorowski’s camp has stepped up attacks on Kaczynski, questioning whether the prickly conservative’s mostly conciliatory campaign was genuine.
Komorowski has refused to take part in the only televised debate between the top candidates on Sunday organized by the public broadcaster, calling instead for a one-on-one debate with Kaczynski.
If neither candidate wins more than 50 percent in the first round on June 20, a run-off between the top two contenders will be held two weeks later.
The TNS OBOP poll, which was conducted on a sample of 1,000 Poles on June 10-11, showed Komorowski would beat Kaczynski in a second round by 56 percent to 44 percent.
Just when you thought the damages BP could cause was limited to beaches, marshes, oceans, people’s livelihoods, birds and marine life, there’s more.
NALCO has created Eco-Terrorism! Plain & Simple right along side of BP
BP’s favorite dispersant Corexit 9500 is being sprayed at the oil gusher on the ocean floor. Corexit is also being air sprayed across hundreds of miles of oil slicks all across the gulf. There have been widespread reports of oil cleanup crews reporting various injuries including respiratory distress, dizziness and headaches.
Corexit 9500 is a solvent originally developed by Exxon and now manufactured by the Nalco of Naperville, Illinois. Corexit is is four times more toxic than oil (oil is toxic at 11 ppm (parts per million), Corexit 9500 at only 2.61ppm).
In a report written by Anita George-Ares and James R. Clark for Exxon Biomedical Sciences, Inc. titled “Acute Aquatic Toxicity of Three Corexit Products: An Overview” Corexit 9500 was found to be one of the most toxic dispersal agents ever developed.
According to the Clark and George-Ares report, Corexit mixed with the higher gulf coast water temperatures becomes even more toxic. The UK’s Marine Management Organization has banned Corexit so if there was a spill in the UK’s North Sea, BP is banned from using Corexit.
~Note : this is banned where BP originates…THAT says it ALL! If you want detailed info on Corexit or NALCO , all you have to do is type “Corexit” or “NALCO” in a search here at JUST Piper
The danger to humans can be expected. The warnings on the Corexit packaging is straightforward. Breathing in Corexit is not recommended.
It seems like damage brought by the oil gusher has spread way beyond the ocean, coastal areas and beaches. Collateral damage now appears to include agricultural damage way inland Mississippi.
A mysterious “disease” has caused widespread damage to plants from weeds to farmed organic and conventionally grown crops. There is very strong suspicion that ocean winds have blown Corexit aerosol plumes or droplets and that dispersants have caused the unexplained widespread damage or “disease”.
There is no other explanation for the crop damage. Everything points to something that has a widespread effect on plants and crops. While no one precisely knows, all the signs point to BP’s use of aerosolized Corexit brought inland by the ocean winds or rain.
Remember acid rain? Now it seems we could have toxic dispersant rain.
Russian scientists are basing their apocalyptic destruction assessment due to BP’s use of millions of gallons of the chemical dispersal agent known as Corexit 9500 which is being pumped directly into the leak of this wellhead over a mile under the Gulf of Mexico waters and designed, this report says, to keep hidden from the American public the full, and tragic, extent of this leak that is now estimated to be over 2.9 million gallons a day.
The dispersal agent Corexit 9500 is a solvent originally developed by Exxon and now manufactured by the Nalco Holding Company of Naperville, Illinois that is four times more toxic than oil (oil is toxic at 11 ppm (parts per million), Corexit 9500 at only 2.61ppm). Even worse, according to this report, with higher water temperatures, like those now occurring in the Gulf of Mexico, its toxicity grows.
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in discovering BP’s use of this dangerous dispersal agent ordered BP to stop using it, but BP refused stating that their only alternative to Corexit 9500 was an even more dangerous dispersal agent known as Sea Brat 4.

COULD BP’S DISPERSANTS CAUSE APOCALYPTIC RAINS?BIRDS AND VEGETATION ARE DYING
~ From http://www.youtube.com/user/102196543
June 08, 2010 — BP’S DISPERSANTS MAY BE AIRBORN KILLING VEGETATION ,BIRDS IN 2 TN. COUNTIES.THIS IS VERY SCARY FOLKS.COULD THE RUSSIAN SCIENTISTS BE RIGHT ABOUT WHAT THEY SAID LAST WEEK ABOUT BP’S DISPERSANTS AND OIL EVAPERATING AND COMING BACK DOWN ON EASTERN AND NORTHEASTEN USA KILLING ALL VEGETATION AND WILDLIFE.THIS IS TERRIFYING .LETS HOPE THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT.MAYBE ITS JUST A STRONG BATCH OF CHEMTRAILS THEY SPRAYED ON PEOPLE THAT DAY.I GUESS TIME WILL TELL.
I want to start in 1945. The guns had finally drawn silent in Western Europe. The bombs had stopped falling. The skies above were no longer filled with the scream of fighter planes. The invasions and battles were no more. The Allied forces had won, and World War II was over. But this was far from the end. Another, perhaps even more important war, was just beginning. Europe was decimated both politically and structurally and faced the daunting task of starting over from scratch.
America had just come off a Great Depression many believed was caused by the evil, greedy capitalist system. The question that loomed largest over many countries around the entire globe: What do we do from here? Should we risk another economic collapse, or should we let government control the economy?
The eventual deciding factor in the ‘war after the war’ came from a very unlikely source: A little known economist, originally from Vienna, named Friedrich A. Hayek. We are in a similar war today, but if you don’t know history, you probably aren’t even aware of it.
Starting in the early 1940’s, Hayek began writing a little book called “The Road to Serfdom.” The book clearly and logically explained how any form of central government planning eventually leads to serfdom (or servitude) and extinguishes freedom. He didn’t think he would gain any notoriety or fortune from the book, in fact, it was quite the opposite. Material like this was banned in Germany and elsewhere. He was only writing it because he considered it “a duty which I must not evade.” See, there was a real possibility that Europe and even America would move in that direction. After all, England had been in with the Fabian socialists.
As Always Char you are on top of the spill, Thank You!
~Well, now we know part of the ‘cover-up’is, but was it JUST drilling that did this? There is so much conjecture…YOU decide. What is more alarming is this, the video/article from ‘mil’ companion…read on…

GULFPORT, Miss. – Three units representing each component of the Air Force made history here May 16 through 23 when they successfully completed the first homeland defense operational readiness inspection.
The ORI, held at the Gulfport Combat Readiness Training Center here, was administered by the Air Mobility Command Inspector General on a trial basis, but it may help pave the way for future inspections, officials said.
“For the very first time, the U.S. Air Force has validated a unit’s wartime capability to defend the homeland by fighting an enemy right here on U.S. soil,” said Col. Greg Nelson, the commander of the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 123rd Airlift Wing, which served as the lead organization for the ORI.
“That represents a major shift in the way Air Force (leaders evaluate) unit readiness, because it puts the focus in our own backyard, rather than a simulated overseas location where these evaluations are usually staged,” he said.
The inspection was a total force effort, with the 123rd Airlift Wing representing the Air National Guard; the 317th Airlift Group from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, providing active-duty forces; and the 70th Aerial Port Squadron from Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., contributing Air Force Reserve members and equipment.
~This is remarkable on two levels. One the research/investigation average bloggers are doing and secondary that this is even happening. It is alarmist in the sense it’s not fallacy
