Anwar Awlaki, now believed to be an Al Qaeda recruiter hiding in Yemen, is connected to at least two recent suspected terrorism cases – the Fort Hood attack and the attempted Christmas Day jet bombing.

The American Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, considered by some to be one of the most wanted terrorists behind Usama bin Laden, was educated in the United States with taxpayers money, an ongoing Fox News investigation has found.

Awlaki, now believed to be recruiting for Al Qaeda from hiding in Yemen, is connected to at least two recent suspected terrorism cases – the Fort Hood attack and the attempted Christmas Day jet bombing.

Since its inception, the U.S. Federal Reserve’s monetary policies have led to a decline of over 95% in the purchasing power of the U.S. dollar. As a result, there have been several attempts to curtail or eliminate the Federal Reserve’s powers (for example, the efforts of Rep. Louis T. McFadden in the 1930s; the efforts of Rep. Wright Patman in the 1970s; the efforts of Rep. Henry Gonzalez in the 1990s; and the efforts of Rep. Ron Paul since the 1990s); however, none have proven successful to date, due mainly to the constraints of strong political opposition at the national level.

In contrast to these attempts at the national level, a paper I recently presented at the Mises Institute’s “Austrian Scholars Conference” proposes an alternative approach to ending the Federal Reserve’s monopoly on money: the “Constitutional Tender Act,” a bill template (first introduced by Georgia State Rep. Bobby Franklin) that can be introduced in every State legislature in the nation, returning each of them to adherence to the U.S. Constitution’s “legal tender” provisions of Article I, Section 10.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A common antifungal drug can slow tumours growing in mice and should be investigated as a potentially cheap and easy way to fight cancer in people, researchers reported on Monday.

Although it did not completely wipe out the tumours, the drug called itraconazole may boost the effects of other drugs, the researchers reported in the journal Cancer Cell.

Itraconazole is marketed under the brand name Sporanox by Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Janssen Pharmaceutica, mostly for treating a fungal infection called aspergillus.

The drug affects a so-called cascade of effects through a molecular pathway called Hedgehog, the researchers reported.

Big Government

Hopefully by now you are aware that Senator Chris McDaniel and I have filed a citizens class action lawsuit against the PPACA, the liberty-robbing “Obamacare” statute, in the federal court for the Southern District of Mississippi. Please see our prior article on this subject here. The response from liberty-loving Americans has been overwhelming — from Big Media, not so much. I understand their disinterest, though, because really important things like the travails of a billionaire golfer takes up so much of their time.

That’s quite alright, because I would rather come directly to you to make important announcements like this: Lt. Governor Phil Bryant has entered our class action lawsuit against the PPACA as an individual, private citizen. He is serving as a Petitioner, and is the class representative for a uniquely important class: employees of the State of Mississippi.

News Real

In their national election yesterday, Hungary ushered out its ruling Socialist government in favor of the center-right, Fidesz party in a landslide victory. The UK Telegraph, however, was much more interested in the gains made by Jobbik, Hungary’s so-called “far-right” party, in the election. Many are concerned over the rising popularity of Jobbik — the Telegraph itself described the political turn-around as the “first step in power for the far-right” since the Nazis

From the people who claim to consider dissent the highest form of patriotism:

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) – Opponents of the fiscally conservative tea party movement say they plan to infiltrate and dismantle the political group by trying to make its members appear to be racist, homophobic and moronic.

Jason Levin, creator of http://www.crashtheteaparty.org, (WARNING:Site has read flag from WOT ) said Monday the group has 65 leaders in major cities across the country who are trying to recruit members to infiltrate tea party events for April 15—tax filing day, when tea party groups across the country are planning to gather and protest high taxes.

It’s blue-on-blue warfare among Democrats fighting over the special election in Hawaii’s 1st District.

You’ll recall that far Leftist Neil Abercrombie stepped down earlier this year to run for governor.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in Washington favors former Democratic Rep. Ed Case over state Senator Colleen Hanabusa. Case is considered more “moderate” than the union-backed firebrand Hanabusa. But for Asian-American Democrats, it’s all about skin color. They’re whining about white male favoritism and making giant, race-hustling fools of themselves.
